Overview

The Azimut 85 Fly is a Grand Tourer of the sea; stately, luxurious and panoramic, this is the yacht conceived by Stefano Righini and Carlo Galeazzi together with Viareggio’s Azimut team. A concept that evolved into a - nearly 88 feet long and over 20 feet wide - villa on the sea for up to 10 guests.

Ample windows on both decks, dilated volume and original layout are only a few of the many assets on this new 85 fly Owner version, as the title infers, gives more importance to the areas dedicated to the owner with a large full beam suite amidships with private access from the lounge and two separate “his and hers” en-suite bathrooms.

Light, spacious and welcoming, the main saloon of the Azimut 85 Fly is the apogee of understated elegance. The 85 has a comfortable rounded sofa aside the modern pilot station. In addition, the elegance of the owner's stateroom is perfectly blended with an excellent use of space, while mirrors and light colours enhance the spaciousness of the owner's sumptuous bathroom. The comfortable VIP cabin is located in the bow of the yacht and two port and starboard twin guest cabins, each with ensuite facilities complete the accommodations.

In winter 2015/2016, during the off-season, a full refit was carried-out on the boat by servicing, updating and upgrading the entire boat:

Updating the entire system of HUMPFREE flaps system: displays, servos and switchboard.

The RAYMARINE Plotter and VHF where upgraded to 2016 models.

Installation of waterproof RAYMARINE CCTV camera aft.

Full service of OPACMARE gangway; replacement of hose assemblies pulleys, seals, hydraulic cylinders, oil and pump seals, manufacture of new extra handrails, original bungee change, change of teak over walkway.

Full service of anchor windlass, replacement of seals, bearings, electric motor rewinding, reinforced housing, electric motor oil replacement.

Upgrade of TV system KVH from old model G8 the most modern model M4 with integrated GPS including self-locating.

Full-service of BCS steering system, replacement of seals of hydraulic steering cylinders, hoses, electro-hydraulic valves, oil change, update patch cords system.

Full-service stern winches, replacing wiring and keypad.

AC system full service, cleaning and replace hose assemblies in fan coils throughout the boat, replacing electric fan coil plate in kitchen, gas in the newly spare circuit.

Full service of axles and hydro-lube rings.

Seacocks full-service background and replacement of taps of the main generators and motors.

Full-service of bow and stern thrusters, change of seals and oils.

Replacing the hi-fi audiovisual system in the entire boat, currently SONOS.

Replacement of all TVs throughout the boat, currently LED TV and ANDROID TV system.

Full automation domotics service, replacement and upgrade PLCS,

Flumes fuel tanks, gray water and black water.

Update system joystick manoeuvring engines and propellers fore / aft.
