Overview
Since the introduction of this model in 2000, the Bayliner 285 is
known for their contemporary styling, roomy accommodations, and a very
affordable price. The Betsy - West is a 2005 model that has
been lightly used - with approximately 100 hours on her 300 HP
Mercruiser with Bravo 3 sterndrive. Tri-axle trailer included.
Overview
The Betsy-West is a 2005 Bayliner 285 Cruiser. She spent
her early life in freshwater and has only been in a saltwater
environment the last few years. The Betsy-West is a one owner
boat and has been lightly used. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull
with a relatively wide beam, this model is known for their roomy and
functional accommodations. The convertible dinette will seat four
comfortably and there is a full galley, stand-up head, and generous
storage throughout. Forward there is a huge V-berth with privacy curtain
and the owner's stateroom is aft (under helm deck) with an athwartship
double berth with a privacy door. At the dock, enjoy air-conditioning
and heat. A tri-axle trailer is included.
Cockpit
The 285 Bayliner Cruiser features a full beam swim platform that
allows easy entry from a floating dock. There is a transom door to
starboard that hinges open to access the cockpit area. Truly a
functional layout with lots of seating!

Cabin Overview
The entry to the cabin is centerline from the helm deck. Entering
the cabin, the Master stateroom entry is to port with the double berth
under the helm deck. To port is a spacious galley and to starboard is a
stand-up head (aft) and convertible dinette. Forward is a large V-berth.
Truly a fantastic layout that is extremely functional.
