Overview
ALMOST A PERFECT 10 ... A MUST SEE FOR SURE!
"WINE DOWN" is prime example of a 2008 Beneteau 343 in Excellent Condition and truly a solid 9 out of 10. It would be difficult to find a vessel of her age in better in her overall shape, which will result in her not lasting long in this market. The Beneteau 343 was conceived as a lively cruiser with construction features that we've all come to take for granted with Beneteau. She is comfortable on deck as well below, easy to handle, maintain, while performing well through a wide range of conditions. Well known as a capable coastal cruiser and a luxurious Day Sailer makes her a MUST SEE.

DESIGN
"Wine Down" has a hull that is voluminous with plenty of freeboard. Her beam is moderate, but carried well aft to somewhere around the companionway to where narrow keel section flares aft. The standard three bladed propeller is supported by a molded skeg and the balanced rudder is placed well aft providing steering control especially when deep reaching. She has a standard draft of 4 feet, 9 inches.
Like most newer designs, the 343 incorporates a fairly straight run from bow-to stern-the-look is thoroughly modern. The low-profile cabintrunk softens the lines with a gentle slope forward. The hull is a solid laminate with a structural fiberglass liner glassed in place. The hull and deck are laminated together, in lieu of the more common mechanical joint, and the aluminum toerail is bonded and screwed in place.
