The Bertram 46.6 Sportfish is a classic design that had a production run of 16 years with very few modifications. Recognized for great sea keeping ability it was arguably one of the most popular sportfish ever built and remains a very desirable boat today.

Only three owners since new, "Masada" has been very well maintained and upgraded and is available at a greatly reduced price.

Salon

The vessel's interior features burl pear wood paneling with cherry moldings; all in high gloss finish. The sole is teak and holly throughout. Wood blinds on the windows.

Aft to port is a new u-line drink cooler, storage cabinet and stainless steel sink with corian counter top. Along the port side is an ultra leather couch, custom high / low table and Oriental rug. Forward there are storage cabinets and the entertainment center which features:

Galley

The galley is forward and down to starboard from the salon and features Corian counter top with Corian sink, and all the cabinetry is done in burl pear wood panels with cherry moldings. The sole is teak and holly.

Accommodations

The master stateroom is amidships to port and features a split berth arrangement with nightstand between and custom overhead storage cabinets. There are opening portlights and cedar lined closet. The same burl pear wood paneling with cherry moldings is used in both master and guest staterooms as in the other interior spaces. The master bath features a teak and holly sole, Corian vanity and Vacu-Flush toilet; same in the second guest bath. The guest stateroom forward features a V berth. 

Fly Bridge

The flybridge features an aluminum half tower with two color stamoid top;(blue underside), three sided eisenglass enclosure with four large u-zips and aft eisenglass panel. There are twin custom helm chairs and bench seating forward. NOTE: Eisenglass is in excellent condition, new coaming bolsters, recent upholstery on bench seating and helm chairs, and LED lighting in the half tower. All upgraded wiring under helm. Flybridge refrigerator. 15 "rocket launcher" type rod holders on aft railing, triple spreader Rupp outriggers and two Hobbs spreader lights over cockpit.

Mounted on the half tower is a KVH M5 Tracvision Receiver and Furuno 72 mile open array radar receiver.

Deck

The FOREDECK features aluminum railings, UMT 600 lb. davit and UMT tender chocks for 14' West Marine RIB with Yamaha 20 hp 4stroke; (less than ten hours). All Bomar hatches replaced, Lofrans low profile windlass with Fortress FX 37 anchor on 100' chain and 200' rode. The forward windows have been glassed in.

The COCKPIT features Mathers electronic engine controls and Furuno depth sounder with multi-function capability. Uline icemaker. Seavision underwater lights and blue cockpit courtesy lights.

The AFT LAZZARETTE features a new compressor for cockpit freezer, new baitwell pump, re-enforced pillow block deck and new pillow blocks, rudders and rudder posts serviced.

Electrical

The vessel has a new 9kw Northern Lights generator in sound shield ( 59 hrs), Heart 5000 watt inverter, recently replaced batteries and updated battery wiring with new isolation switches. New Pro Mariner pronautic 1250 battery charger. DC electrical panel was redone and most DC wiring to engine room replaced.

Engine Room

The original air intake boxes have been replaced, a new Fireboy auto / manual fire suppression system model FD 1100M, new Stainless Steel hot water heater, (2) 16,000 btu and (1) 7,000 btu Cruiseaire air conditioners, Murphy mechanical switch gauges with remote start / stop. Turbos, Intercoolers, and cooling system serviced and new water pumps. Air Seps cleaned and serviced. Tides Marine drip-less shaft seals. Fuel priming pumps for main engines replaced with Carter rotary fuel pumps. Complete engine service. New exhaust blankets, Racor fuel filters rebuilt, fuel tanks cleaned. (Racor fuel filters accessed at salon entry making for very easy maintenance and the filters have vacuum gauges).

NOTE: The vessel has a new Northern Lights 9 KW Generator in Sound Shield with only 59 hrs.use.

Aditional Information

The vessel was previously painted with Awlgrip by C&N Yacht Refinishing and the exterior finish shows very well. 

The interior was refit by Highland Interiors and shows beautifully.

All original Bertram owners manuals, complete maintenance and refinishing documentation and invoices and binders with manuals for all auxiliary equipment.
