If you are looking for a rock solid, wave crushing Deep V with low hours and many modern updates like dual helm air conditioners, quiet Fischer Panda generator and newer Garmin Electronics, this Blackfin Combi 38 will get you to the fishing grounds quickly and smoothly, with a giant cockpit that can handle the largest of crews.

This 38 Blackfin Combi (express/open) has less than 500 hours on rebuilt Detroit DDEC 6v92 Diesel engines that are running strong! A newer tower was also installed that is not original to the boat and has a great layout with a bench seat and room to stand behind. This 38 Blackfin was previously owned by George Barber, one of the wealthiest land owners in the state of Alabama, and therefore has been updated with an open check book.

In recent years the following items have been replaced or upgraded:

  • Main engines rebuilt by Saunders Yachtworks (11/2005)
  • New tower (2010) 
  • Fischer Panda 12Mini diesel generator 449 hours (2012)
  • Garmin electronics package installed in 2012: VHF 200, GHC 10 Autopilot, X-HD Open Array Radar, GPS Map 7215, GPSMap 7212, and a GPSMap 7610xsv in Tower.
  • Two new AC units for helm deck (2012)
  • Helm deck enclosure (2012)
  • Fuel tank replaced (2012)
  • Exhaust/mufflers updated (2012)
  • Bottom painted (5/2018)
  • Props tuned (5/2018)
  • Bilge pumps re-routed to separate thru-hull fittings
  • Fuel pump added for generator
  • Fresh topside detail (7/20/2018)
