The latest boat in a successful lineage of Blackwell Sportfishers operated by the same owner, the Sea Hag has made a name for itself up and down the Mid-Atlantic coast and Mexico. This program has been in high gear for over 25 years now and the Sea Hag has been atop the money winners in many of the biggest tournaments from NC to NJ. This 61 is a beautiful and practical example of what is learned through all of these years of fishing and traveling around. She has the looks, the power, the range and all of the systems necessary to comfortably and efficiently move around and stay on the fish. She has a very comfortable layout, lots of storage in all areas and a smart and spacious design to her cockpit and bridge. She has been professionally maintained since the beginning and the owner spares no expense in her upkeep. If you are looking for a tried and true, fish raising rig that turns heads as well, then you need to check out the Sea Hag.

General Layout

As you board the Sea Hag, the first thing you notice are the beautiful lines, the shape and tumblehome and the attention to detail that Blackwell boats are known for. The teak deck and rolled cover boards lead to a wide teak mezzanine deck full of all kinds of storage as well as freezer space. The teak salon door is offset to starboard and as you enter the salon you immediately sense that this boat was built with comfort and practicality in mind. With a large L-shaped custom covered couch to port and an 8' straight couch to starboard, there is ample room to lounge about, watch TV or listen to the sound system. To port forward is the galley, well appointed with all of the necessary fixtures and appliances for day trips or travel. Teak trim, valances, cabinetry, custom laminate countertops with sea rails and new window treatments round out a comfortable, ergonomic design. Down the teak veneered companionway to starboard is a roomy day head with teak and holly sole and shower. Forward of that to starboard is the crews quarters with stacked bunks, storage drawers, hanging lockers and TV. The Master V-berth boasts a large stepped bed, it's own head with teak and holly sole and shower, storage drawers, hanging lockers and TV. Back to port, the guest stateroom offers a double bed set up with storage drawers, cabinets, hanging locker and TV. All rooms have lockable teak doors, teak trim, carpet, recessed lighting and soft tone textured wallpaper.
