The "Ambush" is a true one of kind culmination of North Carolina Outer Banks custom craftsmanship. Her hull design and refined interior is second to none. The "Ambush" hull was constructed utilizing concepts based on a modified Deltaconic design now favored by a majority of long time Outer Banks boatbuilders and captains. This hull design was nurtured and tweaked for years and finally perfected. The result is an easy planing, efficient and ocean taming Custom Carolina style ride. The "Ambush" hull, house and bridge were built by Briglia Boatworks with particular attention paid to latest Carolina hull design concepts. Upon completion of the shell, Bluewater Yacht yard in Wanchese, NC was contracted to finish the build in 2010. Bluewater is known for complete perfection craftsmanship and in this particular vessel you will see why. Bluewater brought in some of the best minds and tradesmen to be involved with this project. The finish work is second to none and the "Ambush" was built to provide maximum comfort, economical operation and long range travel to the world's most fulfilling sportfishing destinations. This is a true one of a kind must see sportsfishing machine.

Welcome Aboard Walk Through Cockpit

From the moment you step onboard, you will notice the extra attention paid to the construction of this yacht. Extra wide teak covering boards with beautiful rounded bolsters and a teak covered deck greet you upon boarding. A comfortable body symmetric mezzanine is sure to please the most avid fisherman during the day and the outside dockside relaxer at night. The huge stainless lined fish box is an added bonus and tribute to attention to detail. Plenty of storage is located below the mezzanine and step allows for cleaning supplies and fishing gear. A cockpit freezer is located under the port side seating arrangement. Engine room access is under step to the port of the main salon entrance door. A full size Release fighting chair with rocket launcher is the cockpit center piece. Ample tackle storage drawers, Eskimo ice chipper dump space and cold drink box is also located in cockpit area.

The entrance to the salon is through an offset starboard side sliding door. Upon entry, you will notice a very sizable and comfortable salon. The galley is large with light colored marbled counter tops.
