This luxury vessel's sophisticated exterior design and engineering are the work of Broward. Her exterior is styled by the Broward team who are also responsible for the entire engineering package.
Midsummer Dream's interior layout sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 staterooms, including a master suite, and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout her living areas to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
Over the last decade, MIDSUMMER DREAM has had extensive maintenance at Delta Shipyards in Seattle. Delta refit the guest staterooms in 2012. The main salon was refit in 2013.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Sleeps up to six owners & guests in three double staterooms plus a double convertible salon settee and two double crew cabins with four enclosed heads. Layout from Forward, Belowdecks: Chain locker is followed by Crew Accommodations, including a captain’s stateroom with queen berth and crew cabin with two single berths, easy access to the adjacent enclosed crew head with shower, plus a dinette with TV. Aft is a watertight door opening to the engine room, with adjacent ship’s laundry.
Up and aft to the Main Deck level finds the bright U-shaped Galley all the way forward, followed by the Formal Dining Salon. Starboard side companionway runs aft past a starboard side deck access door and port steps up to the Raised Pilothouse. The Pilothouse offers a centerline command helm, bench seating with drawer storage below, access to a sliding port side deck door and sheltered inside access stairs up to the Flybridge above.
Aft again from the main deck companionway is the expansive Main Salon, featuring plush upholstered sofa seating, wetbar with undercounter refrigerator, entertainment center with complete A/V equipment and great views via large windows at each side. Aft are doors opening to the expansive Aft Deck which is great for entertaining. Features include teak sole, bench guest seating aft that faces a varnished teak and holly table with chairs, built-in bar/service counter, refrigerator/freezer, icemaker and a full enclosure for all weather enjoyment. Teak and stainless ladder forward to the Boat Deck and Integral curved stairs down and aft to the oversized Swimstep.
Back in the Main Salon is a starboard side stairwell leading down to the belowdecks Master and Guest Accommodations. Accommodations include identical port and starboard Guest Staterooms, each with side by side single berths, built-in locker and drawer storage, TV and ensuite Guest Heads with vanities. The full width Master Stateroom is aft, featuring walkaround king berth, substantial built-in custom storage, complete A/V equipment and ensuite Master Head with vanity.
Notable décor aboard MIDSUMMER DREAM includes a marble sole in the richly-appointed formal dining salon, stainless steel galley countertops and custom direct and indirect lighting throughout.

CONTROL SYSTEMS
MIDSUMMER DREAM has two full control stations from the main helm and flybridge with full instrumentation and alarm systems at both stations. A Panasonic 1020 video monitoring system is installed to monitor the aft deck and engine room. Steering control is through a Jastram hydraulic system with wheel and jog lever control. The vessel is equipped with an American hydraulic bow thruster with pump off the main engine and control from both stations.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
12vDC and 240vAC systems with panels and fuse/circuit breaker protection. Electrical services are provided by two 50 amp Atlas Shore converters. Two gensets: one each Northern Lights 32kW with sound shield, and Westerbeke 30kW. The shore service isolation transformers were recently installed. Electrical systems throughout the vessel are in excellent condition.

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS & ENGINE ROOM
MIDSUMMER DREAM is powered by 2002 Yanmar/Scania model D1 12 44M diesel engines, installed new by Derecktor Shipyards in late 2002. With control stations at pilothouse and flybridge helms, the mains are freshwater exchanger cooling, with combination wet and dry exhaust systems and Twin Disc MG 5114 2:1 reduction gears to new stainless steel shafts.
Fuel is stored in three integral aluminum tanks with Racor fuel filtration. Fire control is via built-in automatic Halon system at the engine room plus full complement of hand-held DC units throughout.
REMARKS:
This customized Broward Pilothouse Motor Yacht combines the best in classic styling with new systems into a perfect blend for entertaining and extended range cruising. All aluminum construction was augmented with upgrades and a custom 12’ keel and Euro-style stern extension by the famed Derecktor Shipyard in the late nineties. Additional fuel tankage (raised to 7,000 USG) along with bow thruster and Naiad stabilization makes her ideally suited for serious destination passages. Recent 2012 refit at Delta Marine with new paint and many system upgrades. Meticulously maintained and upgraded by the knowledgeable owner and full time captain. An extensive refit in 2002/2003, including new Scania diesel mains. With elegant interior décor and an enviable array of equipment and outfit onboard, REFLECTIONS represents a truly special offering on the West Coast vessel market.
