A classic 1975 Brownell 50 custom sportfish is being offered for sale designed by New England legend Eldridge McGuinness. The current owner - only her second - has tastefully restored this beauty with an open checkbook to the tune of $700,000, possessing the standards and designs of today while keeping the original class and sophistication intact. Featuring a three-layer hull constructed with tongue-and-grove-laid Honduran Mahogany sandwiched with epoxy, the Detroit Diesel power allows an effortless cruise at 20 knots with a top speed of 26 knots. This boat is perfect for long outings and would make an excellent floating home away from home. She's set up to cruise anywhere, in any weather. Unfortunately due to dockage constraints, the owner must down-size. Will consider trade on 30-foot-class center console or similar size express sportfish. 

This boat is easy to show in Marco Island, Florida, but will be arriving Southeast coast of Florida in the coming weeks.

Powered by twin Detroit Diesel 8V92's matched with Glendenning controls and a 2008 12 KW Westebeke generator.

The boat starts right up and runs great.

Should the next owner decide to repower down the road, Cummins QSM11's would be a perfect fit and a quick swap as the salon floor is easily unbolted to provide nearly limitless access to the entire engine room for any major service.  

The vessel is a spacious two stateroom layout with the master forward and teak and holly flooring.

The master features wide bunks and has two generous closets including one full walk in. The smaller hanging closet also offers storage for spare props. There is also a 32" Samsung TV

A twin bunkroom is found just off the galley midship with additional hanging storage and a linen closet. There is also a wall mounted Samsung TV

Both staterooms have their own full heads with Dometic Vacuflush heads.

The vessel is equipped with Simrad electronics including dual 12" displays at the helm and autopilot

Icom IC-M604 VHF

and Fusion stereo.

There is a 7 inch Simard display in the tower and an 8 inch display at the aft station.

The well appointed salon is both spacious and welcoming. It features natural light from 360 degrees, multiple plush seats and an adjustable table which can be raised for dining. 

There is a 46" Samsung TV which is paired with the Intellian Sat dome so you can enjoy your favorite programs both on and off the dock.

The cockpit features an aft control station with teak helm pod. There are Glendenning controls and an 8 inch Simrad display.

You will also find a custom teak rocket launcher and a new teak deck with covering boards. 

There is an in deck macerated fish box with an in deck live well. Also you will find a large bait freezer and drink box on the port side.

Both fresh and salt water washdowns are available

The transom features a tuna door

The tower was replaced in 2016. It shows as new and is in perfect condition. There are Glendenning controls in the tower as well as a Simrad display and Icom command Mic.
