BRUNO & STILLMAN 42 - YOLO - WALKTHROUGH

As you approach Yolo you are struck by the mahogany deck house and the impressive rake of the green hull on this classically designed custom Down East yacht. She is a stand out, one of a kind and it shows.

Deck:

Boarding the yacht at the stern and walking forward you are protected by a stainless steel railing which surrounds the side deck, fore deck and bow pulpit. Hand holds are found along the forward cabin top. The fore deck features an opening hatch to the sleeping quarters below and a deck mounted bow sprit, which houses an electric windless, chain stop, two cleats, anchor and mount.

Aft Deck:

The aft deck is covered by a hard top finished with mahogany and wainscot with a ceiling fan center mounted. There is a full beam bench seat at the stern, protected by a mahogany railing, with a gate opening to the swim platform mounted on the stern. A Shore power receptacle is mounted on the starboard side of the bench, with a swim shower on the port side. A steering station is found in the forward starboard section of the aft deck, with double sliding doors mounted on the forward bullhead which open into the salon. The steering station remains to be completed on the aft deck.

Salon:

The large, airy salon is surrounded on all sides by opening windows and is appointed with high gloss mahogany paneling and a mahogany and wainscot overhead, with led lighting. Stereo speakers and a flat screen TV are found at the aft bulkhead, with the galley located at the forward port section and the helm at the forward starboard side. Some side paneling, joinery work and finished deck installation remains to be completed in the salon.
Galley:

The galley features built in cabinetry with under counter drawers and lockers, sink, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a portable ice maker. Some installation remains to be completed in the galley.

Helm.

The helm is found at the forward starboard side of the salon and features the completed installation of all new instruments and controls including, classic captains wheel, dual engine gauges and Morse engine controls, magnetic compass, Garman navigation equipment, VHF radio, electrical panels, windless, bilge pump and heater controls.

Forward Cabin:

The forward cabin is divided into two sections. The outer section on the port side remains unfinished except for the wainscot overhead and requires paneling and joinery work. This section could be built out to the buyer?s individual tastes and requirements.

The forward section of the cabin houses twin births, port and starboard with drawers, and lockers below. There is a ½ height hanging locker mid cabin which separates the outer and forward sections of the cabin. The mahogany joinery in this section of the cabin is complete, side paneling and the overhead remains unfinished.

Head:

The head is found in the aft starboard section of the forward cabin and features a countertop with sink and 120 vac outlet mounted hull side, with a marine head found at the forward bulkhead. Opposite the head in the aft section of the head there is a full size shower. A set of shelves is found next to the shower. There is a mirror with vanity lights and towel hook mounted on the forward bulkhead, with additional towel hooks mounted on the port bulkhead The overhead and paneling remain to be completed in the head.

Yolo as currently configured provides sleeping accommodations for 2 people in the forward cabin:

- 2 berths, port and starboard forward

There is ample room to add sleeping accommodations in the salon if desired.
