“LADY NIKE II” is a fantastic example of a 40 Cabo express. Her 09 year is the latest model built before pod propulsion was introduced and retro fitted. So if you’re a 40 Cabo person and you want as new as you can get with props and shafts, LADY NIKE II is your boat!! Her Michael Peters hull design sets the standard by which all other boats this size are measured. She has a sharp entry with a large bow flare for a soft dry head sea ride. Her wide beam, shallow draft and partial keel make for a stable comfortable ride in both beam and following seas. Cabo build quality, fit, finish and electrical engineering is well known as best in class. “LADY NIKE II” has been used as a family fishing and cruising boat. She has been well cared for and nicely updated over the years. If you are in the market for a rigged out 40 foot express boat, your search should start and end with “LADY NIKE II.” Below please find a list of some of her factory options, customizations and highlights.
Walkthrough
Cockpit
The cockpit of the 40 Cabo Lady Nike II is all business! Whether fishing, diving or cocktail cruising she has it all. Her 15’9” beam is very evident and there is tons of room to work and maneuver. Cockpit features include:
Helm deck
Two small steps up from the cockpit brings you the raised helm deck. She is very comfortably appointed and offers great seating and views of all the action. There is an L shaped seating area to port. Across to starboard is a tackle storage center with a flat top. This spot is good for a great many things. I have seen it used as a bar, hors d'oeuvres serving, tackle and gear placement, and even a nice elevated seat. Additional helm deck highlights include:
ELECTRONICS
Lower Accommodations
Just to starboard of the centerline helm is a heavy plexiglass door that slides open to access the lower accommodations. Three steps down brings you in the salon/galley area. The Cabo interior finish is simple, but like the rest of the boat best in class. The salon sole is solid teak and holly, a factory option and all the cabinetry is solid satin finished teak.
To Starboard is the L shaped ultra leather sofa with high gloss teak table. This table is removable and then the sofa transforms into a pull out bed and the back flips up to create a bunk. Also to starboard aft is a large stand up rod locker.
To port is the galley and aft is a full head. Features include:
Master Stateroom
“LADY NIKE II” has a hard bulk head and door giving separation and privacy to the Master Stateroom. Additional highlight and feature include:
TOWER
“Lady Nike II” has a custom tuna tower. She has a Furuno nav net unit up in the tower to compliment the one below, engine controls, and auto pilot.
ENGINE ROOM
The engine room on the 40 Cabo has a glassed in gel coat liner that makes clean up a breeze. Fluids, oil or dirt donot get into the fiberglass filaments and texture like other inferior finished vessels. “The engine room on LADY NIKE II shows well, just like the rest of the vessel. You can access it from a helm deck day hatch or tilt it up for huge access on two large hydraulic rams. Some of the engine room highlights include:
