Overview

THIS 2006 TOM FEXAS DESIGN is an exceptional example of yacht building to the highest standards. "BONITA" is a rare find in the Chicago area and shows impeccably due in part to spending the entirety of her life in Great Lakes.

This 84 SMY is actually 87 feet with the 3 foot platform that was extended at the factory. She was ordered to current owners specs with more than $250,000 in customization adds that include full granite and marble upgrades everywhere possible, bow and stern thrusters with a cockpit control station. The bridge has a full custom bar with 24" "Fire Magic Grill," hot tub and room for all your toys that are loaded with the 1700 # Nautical structures crane. All appliances have been upgraded to sub zero throughout, including a 16 Cu. foot fridge in the pilothouse/galley.

The master stateroom had the custom full beam, his n hers head, and enormous "rain glass" shower that is the epitome of elegance. The VIP stateroom could easily be mistaken for the master and two guest staterooms are designed for comfort and luxury. Crew's quarters are far from understated with full head and shower that even make due nicely for additional guest quarters if needed.

Overview

The 2006 Cheoy Lee 84 Bonita represents one of the finest motor yachts in her class. Her modern lines is an Tom Fexus design finished off with a stunning custom interior. Powered by twin Caterpillar C-30 engines (Approx. 1100 hrs), she carries a four-stateroom layout plus crew quarters, making for an ideal cruising yacht, whether for an owner operator or crewed yacht.

Bonita's spacious flybridge, complete with a upgraded plug & play factory installed hardtop, allows for plenty of outdoor space. Between the well-appointed bar and the entertainment center, one would have difficulty finding a flybridge in this class that is better suited to entertaining. Salon

Walking into the main salon on BONITA through the stainless steel-framed doors one is instantly struck by the attention to detail and abundant natural light throughout. Having the dining table forward opens up the salon, creating an ultra-comfortable space with a large settee to port, entertainment center to stbd, and a wet bar forward with custom granite countertops and Sub Zero ice maker and wine cooler. An impressive audio visual system and surround sound speakers is guaranteed to take "movie night" to an entirely different level.

The custom galley, located just forward of the main salon to port, is extremely spacious and thoughtfully laid out. Accommodations

BONITA features a four stateroom layout that can accommodate up to eight plus a crew of two. The master stateroom and (3) guest staterooms are accessed by a stbd side stairwell located in the main salon just adjacent to the galley. Travel down stairs to an open foyer with access to an over/under washer & dryer.

Aft of the foyer is the full beam master stateroom, featuring starboard cedar closets outboard and a centerline king sized berth. Accompanying bedside tables and reading lights will make nighttime bookworms out of virtually anyone. Flanking the master berth to port are beautifully crafted drawers with abundant storage and a settee to starboard. His and her heads w/ rain glass and custom bench seat were an added upgrade aft, accessed from either side of the berth with a large rain glass shower separating the two heads.The master stateroom is equipped with a complete entertainment system, including a LCD TV with surround sound.

Moving forward of the Master Stateroom to stbd is the first of two guest staterooms with twin double berths featuring an ensuite bath. The forward VIP stateroom has a queen size berth and ensuite bath. The two guest staterooms are each equipped with a flatscreen TV with satellite access.

Main Deck/ Flybridge

The flybridge on BONITA can be accessed from the aft deck or from inside the boat through spiral stairs located on the stbd side of the galley. The upper helm is equipped with redundant electronics to the lower station with a upgraded Crown helm seat and a Crown bench seat w/ gas assist pedestals. The custom L-shaped bar to stbd seats five with granite counter tops, fixed stainless steel stools to include a sink, sub zero refrigerator and 24" Fire Magic gas grill.  To port is a large dining table with wrap around seating and storage beneath. BONITA is also highlighted by a hot tub/ spa on the fly-bridge for you to enjoy after a long day of boating.  The upgraded Nautical Structures hydraulic davit (rated at 1700 lbs) allows for a launching off the starboard side of the yacht.  Her hard top is also equipped with the "plug & play" option w/ mounting brackets on the fordeck allowing for easy removal of the hard top if necessary.

Lower Helm/ Dinette

Forward of the galley is the lower helm station of BONITA with a single gas assist Crown helm seat for the captain. Outfitted with Garmin electronics, two multipurpose display screens, Caterpillar controls, stabilizers, as well as bow and stern thrusters, the captain will have a range of state-of-the-art tools at his disposal. This comprehensive electronics suite is duplicated on the upper helm. 

A large C-shaped dinette table is located to the stbd side of the helm station just forward of the galley. You can comfortably seat six with excellent visibility and lighting while anchored at your favorite spot. A chart drawer can be found beneath the dinette for additional storage.
