Overview

NEW TO THE MARKET A 1987 CHRIS-CRAFT AFT CABIN

The Chris Craft 381 Catalina is an enlarged version of the company’s popular 350 Catalina introduced a few years earlier. A huge sales success, the 381 combines a very spacious interior with the solid, near bulletproof construction Chris Craft boats were known for in the early 1980s. Boasting a wide 14-foot beam, the galley-up interior of the Chris Craft 381 features an expansive salon with convertible settee and portside deck door, full-service galley with generous storage, and two comfortable staterooms. Note the tub/shower in the aft head. A king bed—rare in a boat this size—became available in the master stateroom in 1983. Topside, walkaround decks provide convenience and safety to crew and guests, and the molded foredeck bench seat is the place to be on a sunny day. With no flybridge, the 381’s combined helm/aft deck area eliminates troublesome ladders and keeps captain and guests close together. Additional features include a very spacious engine room, an aft deck wet bar with icemaker and refrigerator, swim platform, and a boarding ladder. She’ll cruise at 16 knots with standard 350hp Crusader gas engines and reach a top speed of 25–26 knots.
