General Description

Jack in the Box, this well maintained 1967 50’  Chris Craft Commander, maybe a classic but she still has a lot of life left in her. The engines were replaced in the early 2000 with Yanmar’s 320’s and they have only 1,392 hours on them. This vessel has travelled and still have the bones and means to take you where you want to go with her fuel capacity of 600 gallons (stored in four tanks) with a burn rate of 20 gls/hrs cruising at 13 knots delivers a 400 miles range.

The helm is well equipped with a chart-plotter, radar, fish finder and autopilot. The large center helms- chair and wheel, under the full hardtop bimini, makes Jack in the Box a safe comfortable boat to drive in any conditions.

The cockpit is a spacious and makes lounging, entertaining or traveling very pleasurable. The boat does have davits for a tender and a swim platform.

The fore deck offers additional places to lounge and enjoy the world around you. And when you fancy a change in scenery the two anchors with 100’ chain and additional 100’ of rode permit you to find that spot and stay there without worry.

Stepping down into the roomy main salon it’s easy to imagine how livable it is; with the large windows providing plenty of natural light. Going forward a step down is a very efficient galley with a new refrigerator in 2017. After that a forward cabin with twin berths and a head.

Heading back across the salon and entering the aft cabin there are two single berths. If a queen center berth is desirable it can be added. This cabin has plenty of storage and a full shower/ head combination.

Broker notes:

The mechanicals are in fine working conditions. The space in the salon is flexible as is the aft cabin and will apt to your life style.
