Overview

Phaedra a custom built Atkins designed V bottom sedan cruiser that was carefully built to form back in 1958. This Atkins model is called a Sand Dollar 22' Utility Cruiser one of many boats in the Atkins portfolio V bottom designs that are exceptionally sea worthy and easy to handle.  Destino Yachts has pain strikingly refurbished Phaedra throughout from refastening, replacing and repainting this eastern white cedar planked hull on oak framed construction.  All the surfaces have been stripped of their coatings and replaced with the best quality products on the market today along with using the newest techniques in applications so this rebuild can be enjoyed for years to come.  No expense was barred to make Phaedra a show piece and a tribute to William Atkins and his son John of well proven wooden boat designs.
