Overview

The Cruisers 280 CXI is a modern mid cabin design whose appealing lines and practical lay out made her a popular model for Cruisers. A fairly heavy boat at 10,000 pounds, she is built on a stable modified-V hull with a wide beam and moderate transom dead rise (16%). Like most mid cabin boats her size, the floor plan of the 280CXI is very open and airy. The dinette converts in to a double berth suitable for kids. The galley is set up nicely for food prep activities. A nice roomy head with a shower The top side layout incorporates a double wide helm seat, fore and aft facing cockpit settees and a walk thru windshield with molded in steps for easy four deck access. There is space at the helm for electronics. Additional features include a removable cockpit table, sport arch and transom door. The twin 225 Volvo I/Os cruise the CXI in the mid 20,s and reach a top speed of 35+ knots
