Overview

The Cruisers 5000 Sedan Sport with 3 deluxe staterooms, 3 deck levels, a unique indoor stairway to the bridge and the finest appointments afloat, ensures an unparalleled cruising experience.

The interior is complete with full cherry wood cabinetry, earth toned soft goods and Ultraleather upholstery. Her roomy bridge deck was designed to provide serious comfort, featuring a large wrap-around settee, triple wide helm seat, a wet bar w/ice maker and a stereo/Ipod player. The generous aft deck incorporates an extended swim platform with a hydraulic lift for tender or jet ski. The salon boasts a convertible, crescent shaped dinette/sofa, an L-settee/sleeper and a well equipped lower helm station. A well thought out galley features a coffeemaker, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven and full-size refrigerator/freezer, as well as plenty of storage and counter space plus attractive wood flooring. The master stateroom is midship, with VIP forward and the the twin berth midcabin are accompanied by 2 spacious heads w/separate showers along with countless amenities to enhance the live-aboard life.

This 5000 sedan is powered with the desirable C-12 Caterpillar diesels producing 660 hp each. She will cruise at 24 knots@2100 rpms and will top out at 28 knots @2350 rpms. She will get down to trawler economy burning only 2.3 gph at 8-9 knots. The engines have been fully serviced and the boat is ready to cruise.

When this model was introduced in 1999, it was considered to be "ahead of its time" and today it still looks like a very modern and well designed yacht.

Fly Bridge

The fly bridge on this model is a yachtsman's dream come true. It offers great visibility from the centerline helm station and lots of seating while underway or dockside. This area can be accessed from the salon or from the molded stairway in the cockpit. The bridge provides a nice wet bar w/icemaker behind the triple wide helm seat. Aft is an area that can be used for sunbathing or just hanging out. The radar arch compliments the lines of the yacht. To port is a large L-settee that will seat up to 7.

Deck Equipment

The cockpit is roomy and is accessed from dockside via a transom door on the starboard side. Molded-in steps to the gunwale on either side makes access to the side decks and foredeck safe and secure. A molded stairway with a hatch door above is provided for access to the fly bridge. Engine room access is in the aft deck sole and this area also features storage space. The large swim platform is hydraulic and is fitted w/tender chocks. The foredeck is spacious and features a high stainless steel bow railing and windlass with stainless steel anchor roller.
