Overview

The Cresta brand is well recognized in Australia due to its strong construction designed to last a lifetime. In the early 90’s this Cresta 56 was one of the largest Australian luxury game boats ever built, and was revered by many as “the ultimate”. Having been captain maintained for the past 10 years by her current owner and having been treated to a major refurbishment, this vessel presents in fantastic pristine condition with reliability at sea.

Hand built by master craftsmen in GRP, Afishionado was designed to handle the Australian oceans with comfort. One of only a few Australian boat building companies to master the development of “Carolina flare” to the bow, this 56 foot Cresta carves through the waves, keeping incredibly dry and maintaining a beautiful motion through the water.

The enclosed bridge provides an air conditioned haven for those wanting to passage make the coastline of Australia - the views fore and aft are excellent, and the comfortable helm seats and lounges are a fantastic place to recline and enjoy the journey. The vessel benefits from latest technology Raymarine electronics, Twin Disc Electronic controls and MTU engine instrumentation, and also offers an aft helm for parking or backing up on fish.

A few steps up from the Flybridge aft deck is the custom built Tower by Black Marlin Towers on the Gold Coast. The tower is the perfect place to spot fish or navigate through reefs and provides a definite benefit to the vessel.

The huge cockpit benefits from the wide body of the Cresta design and features full thigh height coamings, teak flooring, ample storage space, eutectic refrigeration, live bait tank, game chair and a well-positioned bait preparation area.

Stepping into the refurbished saloon you are greeted to a full 360 degree views with toughened tinted glass throughout, air conditioned comfort and spacious surrounds.  Featuring Amtico flooring, leather lounges, 6-8 seater dinette and a well-appointed galley gives you all the comforts of home. The vessel also features a LCD TV, DVD player and Fusion sound system.

The accommodation forward makes full use of the vessel’s wide beam, air conditioned throughout featuring two doubles and four singles. The spacious Master Cabin is treated to its own en-suite/toilet, and is separated from the engine room by a machinery/pump room which ensures quietness from engine noise. The double bed VIP cabin and four bunks accommodation shares another head/toilet and provides excellent storage and space.

The vessel has been treated to a significant renovation to its appearance, however the engine room and machinery room is where the owner has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to produce a headache free and reliable heartbeat of the boat. The vessel was repowered in 2006 with latest generation MTU Series 60 diesels and an Onan 17kva generator which have been maintained and serviced.  The engine room provides full standing headroom and walk around. The vessel also includes a HRO Watermaker with 60L per hour capacity for endless water.

This Cresta 56 has been a much loved family member of the Seller for over 10 years, and has been used equally as a game fishing vessel, corporate entertainer and passage maker. The flexibility of use and the results of the refurbishment generate a vessel which presents in excellent condition and an inspection is highly recommended.
