Overview
If you have the desire for extended cruising, this 44' DeFever is worth a
second look. Twin 135hp Perkins inboards, direct drive transmissions,
(1000 hrs), Bow Thruster, 12.5 kw Westerbeake Diesel Genset (1000 hrs),
PLUS 840 Watts of Solar Power on the hardtop. On-board fuel polishing
system, Full upper and lower hardtops, Electric Davit for raising the
Dinghy. Propane cooking, in a very handy galley, with several very nice
custom additions (Fridge/Freezer/Ice Maker). Excellent Salon with large
windows/screens, 6'4" headroom, doors on both sides, 32 inch HDTV, WIFI
router, Sat Weather and Radio, Full upper and lower helm stations, New
LeBroc helm chair for the lower. 2 full heads and showers. Master
stateroom with walkaround Queen berth and excellent storage.
Washer/Dryer too. Guest Stateroom with walk-in engine room access.
Rear, Side and Foredeck
The original swim platform has been replaced with new, and there is a
ladder up to the rear deck. Boarding is also possible from both sides
via a hanging ladder. The aft deck is fully covered by a fiberglass
hardtop with sunshade enclosure. Out door dining furniture and a wet bar
for entertaining.
Both side decks allow for easy and safe access forward. plus there are Salon Doors on both sides with direct side deck access.
Teak
handrails and a recessed walkway. Fender storage and an Anchor Pulpit
with windlass. A Rocna 33kg (73 lb) anchor was added in 2013
Upper Deck
Up several steps from the aft deck is the large/roomy upper deck. Built
with hi-tech Foam core material, t fhardtop was custom manufactured and
installed in '13. All antennas and Solar panels are mounted here. Also,
there is access to the top of the rear hardtop with a 9.5' AB
rigid/inflatable dinghy (with custom cover) and an electric crane for
launching and retrieving the Dinghy. At the rear of the upper deck is a
storage box that houses two 17 lb fiberglass propane tanks. Storage
boxes with cushion tops runs along both sides, LED lighting beneath the
hardtop for this space is new. A single pedestal helm chair sits on the
center-line/forward, with opposing front facing bench seats (storage
beneath). The upper helm station is located here, with full engine
instrumentation and controls.

Lower Helm Station
The lower helm station is located in the front stbd corner of the Salon.
There is a new fully adjustable (slide, swivel, recline, raise/lower)
LeBroc pedestal mounted helm chair with folding arm rests, footrest,
built in cup holder, etc. Three wipers on the large front glass panels
for excellent visibility. An upper console houses several items of

Galley and Salon
From the aft deck, there is a lockable full sized door that leads to the
Main Salon. The galley is aft with large windows, 6'4" headroom and

operational windows with screens and curtains for this space.
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is aft from the salon. A walkaround Queen Berth
sits in the center with the headboard aft. There are reading lamps and
night stands on both sides and very large hanging locker plus drawers
along both sides. The combination washer/dryer is located in a closet
forward with additional storage space.
The master head is port and forward. Vac-U-Flush toilet, sink and vanity and mirror, plus a stand up shower.
Guest Stateroom
The guest stateroom is forward from the salon and features a V-berth
with filler. There are storage drawers beneath, and the private head
with Vac-U-Flush toilet, sink/vanity and mirror. A hanging locker is
situated on the port side and the engine room access door is aft.
