Overview
The renowned Dragon yachts builder Doomernik Yachts in The Netherlands has finished the first of the series of the 37ft Pilot Classic Day sailer Wally Nano MK II.
From a design perspective, a lot of improvements have been achieved in way of the construction details and the deck layout now facilitates single handed sailing from the tiller.
The position of the winches has been improved for ease of handling from the tiller position and all sheet lines are channelled within the core of the deck, which is a much better solution than before.
The yacht comes standard with a state of the art electric propulsion with Lithium Ion batteries. The standard boat is fitted with a carbon rudder, carbon mast, carbon boom and bowsprit, all by Hall Spars. Usually these items are offered as options.
Further the hull features a recessed top strake and a cove stripe, accentuating and detailing the lines of the boat beautifully, please also see image of the scale model above.
In addition to numerous other improvements, the total weight of the boat has been reduced as well; this will obviously have a positive effect on the sailing characteristics.
Standard model price € 275.000,-(+ VAT if required).
