Overview
SEASCAPE is a cutter rigged ketch motor sailor with center cockpit. She is one of the last Durbecks to be built, in Florida, with some custom modifications, making a bright, airy boat. She sleeps four (4) owners and guests in two (2) staterooms, plus two (2) in main salon for a total of six (6) berths. There are two (2) owner and guest staterooms, including two (2) heads and showers.

Vessel Walkthrough
The Master Stateroom is aft, with large double bed and good ventilation. The head and shower are to starboard, and through a companionway forward to port, is the main cabin. This companionway also gives excellent access to the port side of the engine/engine room, as well as hanging lockers, linen cupboard, a large food storage locker and hanging locker for wet weather gear. The Navigation Station is on the port side as you enter the main cabin from aft, with full electronics, then a long settee next, and shelf behind. To starboard is the U shaped Galley, and access to the walk in engine room. Forward of the galley to starboard is a large L shaped settee and dining table with folding sides. There is ample storage under all settees. Two steps down leads to the forward guest cabin with upper and lower berths,and guest head. The vessel is carpeted throughout.

Main Salon, Amidship
The large main salon has a raised coach roof with four large sliding windows, and three roof hatches, giving excellent visibility and ventilation, and a light interior with all woodwork in Ash. The L shaped settee to starboard is around a dining table with fold down sides, and has storage both under and behind, with a bookshelf set back above that. The settee on the port side of the salon has similar storage, and both convert into full size sleeping berths. The Nav station is aft to port, with full chart table and storage, with radios and radar above. The galley is to starboard aft, as described below. The companionway steps to the cockpit are offset slightly to port of the vessels center line.

Galley, Amidships to Starboard 
Three-burner propane stove and oven, gimballed, well-secured and protected; engine-driven/110 Volt Technicold refrigeration system with separate top-loading freezer and refrigerator, both with large holding plates. Microwave, trash compactor and a two bowl stainless steel sink. At the starboard side of companionway, through the galley, is the access to the walk in engine room and workshop, with the ships electrical panel on the port side. Master Stateroom, Aft Master stateroom has two large single berths, with a central filler cushion which creates a large double berth, with bench seat forward. There is a hatch above, and numerous storage lockers, hanging lockers and drawers, vanity wash basin and mirror. Starboard side of master stateroom has enclosed electric Raritan Crown macerator head, vanity and shower, with locker spaces.

Guest Stateroom
Guest Stateroom has upper and lower single berths to port, storage under, and hanging locker forward. Wash basin and lockers to starboard, with shelf and small bench seat forward. The guest head is to starboard aft of the wash basin with electric Raritan Crown macerator Head, shower, and locker space.

Cockpit
Stairway from main cabin leads to hatch and cockpit. The wheel is at the forward starboard side of the cockpit, with full controls, instrumentation and navigation aids. Without the need for a pedestal, the cockpit is spacious, and deep, making it very secure and comfortable. The Bimini has clear curtains and extra sun shades. Electronic Instruments & Navigation Station Wood Freeman 500 Autopilot, 24 mile Raymarine Radar, E120 Raymarine Chart Plotter plus DSM Unit, Datamarine 2700 Depth Sounder, Datamarine Log/Speed & Wind Instruments, Danforth Compass, 2 X VHF (Standard Horizon VHF, Raytheon Ray 55), Weatherfax, Cybernet CTX40 CB, CD Player, EPIRB, Cybernet Loud Hailer. Wheel Steering with Hydraulic System. Rudder is supported on skeg gudgeon. Prop has good protection. Emergency tiller with extension, Morse Engine controls, Navigation Lights.

Main Deck
Anchors: Danforth 60 & 35#, CQR 45# on bow rollers, 3/8" Chain, 3/4" rodes, Electric Anchor
Windlass. 2 X dock boxes on fore deck, one on stern with two propane tanks. Stainless bow and stern pulpit, Full double life lines with P & S boarding gates. Stern davits with Rigid inflatable dinghy and
10 HP Johnson Outboard. 4 main deck winches and 2 mast winches.

Hull
Hull Construction: Yellow feature stripe with white topsides. Extra heavy hand laid-up fiberglass,
reinforced stringers, bulkheads and flooring. Hull thickness: Bottom: 1 1/2"; Sides: 1"; Decks: 1 1/2"
with airex sandwich. This is extra strong construction. Keel: Full-length with protected prop and
rudder. Through-Hull Fittings: All bronze or PVC with approved sea cocks and double clamped hose.

Engine Room
Perkins 4-236, 85 HP Diesel. Work bench. 7.5kw Onan generator. Engine/Generator/2 House Batteries. Refrigeration system with dedicated engine driven alternator. Racor fuel filters for Engine & Generator, Heart 2500w Invertor /charger. Electric and manual bilge pumps. Bronze 3 blade LH 24" X 20" Propellor. Hot water heater (Engine & 110v), 12 volt pressurized fresh water system. 2 X Technicold air conditioning units (Main/fwd Cabin & Aft cabin) Electrical: 12-volt DC and 110-volt AC systems. All fuses
and breakers protected at the panel.

Sails & Rigging
Main Mast: Aluminium, stepped on keel. Mizzen Mast: Aluminium, stepped on deck. Boom: Main and mizzen aluminum. Rigging: All stainless steel and chain plates. Sails: Complete set, main, mizzen,genoa, staysail. All Famet self-furling. Drifter spinnaker with dousing sock. Spinnaker pole, staysail
boom (rigged for but not fitted).

Other Features/Equipment
Fire extinguishers in all cabins, Automatic Halon system in engine room. Life jackets. Horseshoe rings. Givens inflatable life raft in canister.

Notes
The vessel has been owned by the current owner since 1985, and was originally built for the previous owner. It has been kept and used in the Bahamas, with regular trips to Ft Lauderdale for upgrades and maintenance. Bahamas duty paid.
