Overview

 

Few, if any, boats beat the classic good looks of the Dyer 29.  First built in 1955, over 350 were built through 2007 in what may be the longest production run of any fiberglass cruising boat.  Known for their seakeeping ability and fine construction, Dyer 29's in good condition continue to be popular boats.

CHURCH was built with a factory hardtop.  She has had good ownership over the years.  Her first owner appears to have kept her in Greenwich, CT.  She then moved to Florida where,when not in use, she was kept on a lift.  She moved to Missouri in 2004, and is now in Marion, MA.  CHURCH is powered by a 200 horsepower Perkins diesel which gives her a 15-17 knot cruising speed and top speed in the low 20's.  She appears to be in generally good condition.  She's currently stored on land, uncovered, and may be easily inspected.

White Awlgripped hull, black bottom, bow anchor roller, teak bowsprit, teak swim platform, stainless steel swim ladder, four opening ports, Bomar overhead opening hatch, Lewmar electric anchor windlass with wireless remote (both up and down functions), two windshield wipers, cockpit washdown, midship cleats.
