Overview
Edgewater Boats are known worldwide as a premier sportfishing builder, and over the years have proven their dependability, strength and uncompromised performance as the best fishing platforms available on todays market.
The Edgewater 388 CC designed sportfisher features a wide bow flare and steep deadrise for a smooth ride in a head sea. In addition, oversized reverse chines deflect water downward for dryness while providing a very solid and stable ride in a beam sea.
The designer also claims that the boat's long, sweeping lines are more than aesthetics. In fact, they add stiffness to the hull sides and act as secondary chines to help keep water from climbing up the freeboard.
True to Michael Peter's successful experience designing offshore racing boats, his influence on this Edgewater model provides a flat keel pad on centerline and a stepped hull which improve stability at high speeds. Combined with a wide beam, these features give the Edgewater 388 CC a remarkably smooth dry and stable ride.
