Description
LADY CHRISTINE is the Owners’ 4th large motor yacht and as such these highly experienced owners were deeply involved in the entire process from design to every exquisite detail of her finishes. Her distinctive exterior radiates class and sophistication from every angle and mingles perfectly with her interior spaces, creating a relaxing open-air feeling. Within LADY CHRISTINE’s exquisite layout lies an astonishing degree of detailing that weaves her story. Her inlaid exotic woods, the murals adorning the walls, and the multiple textures and fabrics on display set the scene for a masterpiece afloat.
LAYOUT
LADY CHRISTINE offers six decks with the forward sections of the three guest decks raised. The yacht boasts a majestic interior with abundant use of marquetry and inlay work throughout the vessel. A grand central spiral staircase winds from the upper decks down to the cinema below.
SUNDECK
The sun deck, complete with Key West lounge, bar, and powder room, offers a spectacular location to enjoy magnificent 360-degree views.
The Key West Room is an air-conditioned space on the sundeck which can be opened for alfresco dining. It also introduces us to the unique Art Deco-influenced interior styling and a brilliant fusion of materials. The reflective ceiling has antique mirroring surrounding a fabric panel of faux ostrich.
The sundeck also serves as an ingeniously arranged Lloyds-approved helipad, a dining area with multiple cooking options, and an inviting place to relax in the sun fore and aft of the Key West room with optional awning cover. A sliding hatch discreetly covers the crew staircase, and a food lift station ascends seamlessly with the press of a button.
A spectacular curving staircase, adorned with octagonal columns, connects the sun deck with the owners’ private aft deck area.
OWNER’S DECK
The split-level Owners’ deck layout incorporates a forward private observation lounge above the wheelhouse that offers a 180-degree panoramic view. Whether at anchor or underway snuggled by the fireplace it is a peaceful place to watch the world go by and engage in total relaxation.
From the raised Owners’ observation lounge one steps down to the Owners’ deck featuring a private gym, vast stateroom, walk-in dressing room, expansive bathroom, his and hers offices, and a private but elegant outside aft deck area.
The owners’ bathroom contains book-matched cream onyx, and the vanity unit showcases a yellow onyx inlaid top and inlaid cherry cabinet doors. Paneled mirrors conceal several wall cabinets, and adjacent glass panels have engraved designs.
Moving aft, the full-beam master stateroom with floor-to-ceiling windows give you a sense of being outdoors. One has to be in this stateroom to truly appreciate the sense of space.
Both ‘his’ and ‘hers’ offices have wonderful study areas with glass doors leading to the large private aft deck. ‘His’ study is a triumph of flame mahogany and macassar ebony inlays and features a splendid catamaran desk made of rosewood. ‘Her’ study contains mother of pearl panels, framed in cherry wood with ebony moldings and amboyna panels. Delightful crisscross ebony inlay columns are topped off with a shell capital in gold leaf.
MAIN DECK
The raised main deck wheelhouse hosts a large ship’s office which leads down a flight of stairs to the main deck captain’s cabin. Just aft of this is a piano bar, lounge and ship’s dining room which can be open or divided into separate spaces when desired.
The main salon offers exceptional views through full-height windows. From the main salon we move forward into the formal dining room to port and to starboard there is a fully-equipped bar with baby grand piano to starboard. Generous folding balconies either side create and expansive space to assemble and enjoy pre-dinner cocktails or a nightcap.
The main deck aft includes a contra-flow swimming pool and an ingenious infinity pool concept. Although it looks as if the water is flowing directly over the edge of the yacht, this is not the case. A specially-developed system allows the pool water to wash into a drain while the infinity pool effect is created by jet spray nozzles evenly distributed across the stern.
Behind the piano bar wall, a discreet stairwell leads to the lower guest accommodation.
LOWER GUEST LEVEL
The lower deck is home to four guest cabins, three with king size beds and one room with a twin bed. All guest cabins have stunning ensuites with double sinks and separate water closets. Poplar joinery is the main decorative theme of the guest cabins. There is a large amount of storage space throughout LADY CHRISTINE and the guest cabins are no exception.
Forward on the starboard side of the lower deck is a luxurious cinema, decorated with icons of the movie world. The room is exceptionally well insulated, completely enclosed with a steel bulkhead and double doors. Next-level comfort is assured by the custom seats, designed to the specifications of the owners in terms of height and depth. The arm rests can be removed to allow more people to watch the film on a 103-inch screen. An ensuite pantry ensures refreshments are always at hand.
Aft on the lower deck is a spacious tender garage with access to the ocean through a port side shell door for launching their 23’ Castoldi tender (with capacity for a 25’ Castoldi if desired). The tender garage doubles as storage for water toys.
