Overview
Formula 41 Performance Cruiser
These boats were considered the epitome of fast great handling sport boats while travelling in comfort.A superb design, well assembled with much attention given to its layup for strength and speed in open water, they have a very practical interior with ample room for extended trips or simply entertaining.
This particular F41PC, has been in the same ownership since new and has been carefully yard maintained, here in Portsmouth RI, with all maintenance records on hand.Recent additions to inventory include a Raymarine Hybrid Touch MFD including Radar, new full enclosure and batteries. The engines also have had an early 1000 Hour service which included the cleaning of the heat exchangers and oil coolers.
It should come as no surprise that this boat comes fully equipped and ready for another season.
The boat is currently stored indoors at Sakonnet Safe Harbor Marina, in Portsmouth, for the winter but will be relaunched late spring.
Machinery
This Formula 41, comes equipped with twin Volvo Penta TAMD 75P-EDC diesels, rated at 480Hp each, which allow the boat to cruise comfortably at 22kts @ 2200rpm and a max speed of 28-30kts depending on load.
These workhorses are inline 6 cylinders, with 7.3 litre capacity. EDC ensures a clean burn, yet maximize fuel efficiency when under load. This system ensures a minimum of unburnt fuel in the exhaust and allows electronic engine synchronization.
Currently with just over 900 Hours on the clock, these engines have been diligently looked after by our service personnel here at Sakonnet Marina for the last 10 years.
Recent maintenance included the cleaning of the charged air cooling system and the oil coolers.
The boat also comes installed with a Kohler 9.0Kw generator and dual zone Air conditioning.
