The Grady-White 282 Sailfish is an updated version of the company's popular 272 Sailfish, one of the best-selling offshore fishing boats ever produced. With her generous beam, rakish good looks , and impressive feature list, the 282 ranks among the best in her class for fishability and performance. Indeed, there's a lot to like about this boat. The cockpit layout is about as good as it gets in a 28-footer, and even novice boaters will quickly appreciate the extraordinary fit and finish of the 282 Sailfish. The cockpit was redesigned in 2005 to include an aft fishbox and a space-saving foldaway rear bench sea. Below, the cabin manages to provide all the necessary amenities without being cramped. An enclosed head with sink and shower is standard, and a quarter berth extends under the helm deck at the rear of the cabin. Additional features include a bow pulpit, cockpit bolsters, heavy duty transom door, and a superb helm layout. With over 200 gallons of fuel capacity, the 282 enjoys excellent range.
