Overview

The Grand Banks 42 is the classic cruising boat of all time. Her solid, sturdy construction, spacious interior, fully accessible engine room, and comfort in a seaway makes this the boat of choice for trawler enthusiasts. Accommodations

"C'est La Vie" has a great centerline aft cabin berth with custom mattress and lots of storage. Aft head includes separate shower and great accessibility. Closet and storage space is abundant in the aft cabin.
The main salon has a rich teak interior, elegant, spacious, light, airy and 6'4" headroom. The galley up to port is extremely well laid-out for passage making, with the well laid out helm station starboard, easy galley access, and nice main salon area with a drop leaf dining table. The main salon includes ice-maker, separate bar storage, the L shaped dinette is aft to starboard with 6'4" headroom. 
V-berth forward includes custom mattress, air-handler for a/c system and its own separate head. Both fore and aft heads include Lectrasan Coast Guard approved sanitation systems.
The bridge steering station on the Grand Banks 42 is extremely spacious, with room for tables and chairs while in port. This 42 has a bimini top covering  this area and canvas coverage for the large lounging area, and both areas do have teak flooring. Bridge includes folding mast and second aft section with dinghy storage.
