The Grand Banks 49 was a popular boat during it's production years. She is a serious long range cruiser with the trawler look and the quality workmanship typical of all Grand Banks. Her full walkaround decks are safe, secure and easily negotiated... The stand up engine room make maintenance smooth and easy and her interior make this one of the best live aboard / cruiser  you can find. "Gon Bei" has had the same owners for nearly 15 years and they have truly taken great care of her.

Walkthrough

When you first walk up to Gon Bei, the fist thing that comes to mind is how well this has been taken care of. She has had the same owners for 14 years and they have taken care of her about as well an owner could. Stepping on board you will see the classic details and lines. Midship port side you will find steps to the large bridge deck and upper helm station. Bridge deck has plenty of seating for the whole crew to enjoy along with ample storage for extra gear while traveling.

Port and Starboard Salon Entrance doors makes entry into the salon easy no matter where your docked. Once inside you see a large unobstructed Salon / Galley along with the Starboard side lower helm station. Going forward down 4 steps you will find the guest head to port and one of two guest staterooms to starboard. Just forward is guest stateroom 2. Behind the steps leading to the forward staterooms you will find one of the entrances to the engine room. The main entrance to the engine room is in the salon floor.

Going aft from the salon area down 5 steps you will find her master stateroom with ensuite master head starboard side forward as well as plenty storage cabinets and drawer.
