BRILLIANT is an exceptionally clean, well maintained example of the 43 Grand Banks Eastbay Hardtop Express which was repowered in April, 2017 with Cummins QSB 5.9, 480 mhp electronic common rail diesel engines. They currently have under 25 hours use and carry transferrable warranties through April, 2019 which can be extended until November, 2018. In addition, she has been customized with a Pipewelders hydraulic teak swim platform, and an extended cockpit sun shade. Her air conditioned helm deck's side windows have been extended aft blending perfectly with her downeast profile and creating a roomier, more comfortable living space. Her Awlgripped hull and varnish shine like new.
The spacious single stateroom interior arrangement is perfect for the cruising couple, offering a significantly larger master stateroom, head, shower and galley area.
Truly "Turn Key", BRILLIANT is appropriately named, ready to provide many more years of service to her new owner.
Beginning aft, the teak deck cockpit features a custom Pipewelders aluminum sun shade with laced Sunbrella fabric. A starboard side transom door leads to the teak hydraulic swim platform with removable chocks for tender transport also built by Pipewelders. A removable Frigibar refrigerator/freezer fits on the starboard side of the cockpit. A molded in aft facing settee with cushions and storage beneath is forward to port. Port and starboard molded steps lead up to the wide side decks. Another set of steps slightly to starboard through a removable half door lead to the air conditioned helm deck.
The teak soled helm deck features electrically adjustable Pompanette Prestige series helm and companion chairs upholstered in almond Ultraleather. Aft to port is an L-shaped molded settee and varnished teak table with fold out leaves for cocktails or dining. Opposite to starboard is another smaller settee, both with almond Ultraleather cushions. A U-Line ice-maker is housed in a cabinet aft to starboard. A custom teak and glass flip up chart storage compartment is forward of the port companion chair. The helm station is to starboard with 360° visibility and all electronics within easy reach. A centerline hatch provides access down to the spacious engine room. Port and starboard side windows slide open and the center windshield flips up for ventilation. In addition, there are two overhead hatches.
Down four steps through a centerline double teak door are the salon, galley and guest accommodations. There is teak and holly flooring throughout the interior. The fully equipped galley is immediately to port with Corian® countertops, under counter refrigeration, and abundant storage cabinets and drawers. Opposite to starboard is a large U-shaped convertible dinette upholstered in Ultrasuede surrounding a teak adjustable height table on a pedestal. With the table in the down position, the dinette converts to a double berth for guests. Moving forward, on the starboard side of the companionway is the large head with Corian® topped vanity and sink, full length mirror and Vacuflush toilet. On the opposite side of the companionway is the completely separate household size shower room. All the way forward is the oversized master stateroom featuring a large V berth with a cushioned seat in between. To starboard there is a built-in teak chest of drawers and a large double-door cedar lined hanging locker to port.
