Introduction

Gaudeamus was built in Singapore in 1996 by the Greenbay Shipyard for the owner of the shipyard. The Greenbay shipyard was and is a top rated commercial builder of oil field and oil industry ships in Singapore. Having built it for the owner of the shipyard there was no expense spared in her construction.

As you approach Gaudeamus you will immediately notice the classic, mid 90s, raised pilothouse design. The new paint, teak and fabrics make Gaudeamus look new. The large aft swim deck allows easy access to the water for swimmers, diving or fishing.

Gaudeamus underwent a total refit in 2016. She is as close to perfect as possible. The current owner is going out of his way to make sure that the new Owner has no issues once he takes possession.

When you enter Gaudeamus you are immediately pleasantly surprised at the elegance and styling of the interior. The large spaces, high ceilings and properly furnished areas offer an air of elegance, style and comfort.

Salon

As you enter the salon from the aft deck it is immediately clear that Gaudeamus is a stunning example of a classic motor yacht. The rich cherry interior, large windows, high ceilings and elegant furnishings will offer the users a very comfortable and classy environment. All of the furniture and fixtures were new in 2016.

The salon offers a bright, sunny interior feeling throughout. This follows through to the dining area and bar area.
The ceiling is highlighted by a light display of the constellations. Any owner would be extremely proud to entertain on Gaudeamus.

Accommodations

The master suite of Gaudeamus is located on the main deck forward. The full beam master suite has the same luxurious two tone cherry wood with beige fabrics on the settee and lounger that is found throughout this yacht. The high ceilings and light carpeting give the appearance of a much larger room. There is a desk and library, King sized bed, several sitting areas and a very large master ensuite facility with a walk-in closet.
There are two new dedicated A/C units for the master suite.

Staterooms #3 and #4 are matching. They have the same elegant two tone cherry wood as is found throughout this yacht. The queen beds have lighting controls on either side. There are loungers in both suites with a desk area for working or applying makeup. The ensuite facilities are spacious.

Staterooms #1 and #2 are matching with twin beds. Ensuite facilities are sizable. Both suites have desks and settees to make your guests or children comfortable.

All through the yacht there are unique trim pieces that accent the beautiful wood to bring another degree of elegance and class. The interior is not over done or gaudy. It is comfortable and a delightful atmosphere for relaxing.

Fly Bridge

The flybridge area on Gaudeamus is typical of most mid 90s raised pilothouse motor yachts. The tender and jet ski are positions aft by the large crane. Forward of the tender is a hot tub and a lounger. Centered in the flybridge area are two tables and sitting areas for ten plus. There is a great deal of open area for dancing, additional chairs or large social functions.

The forward portion of the Flybridge is the Captain's area for navigation and operations while underway. The flybridge has a large canvas top covering the entire area where guests relax. The top can be lowered and umbrellas can be positions at the table or in various locations.

Aft Deck

As evident in the photography, the aft deck is very large with plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing. The large table seats ten. The teak decks are new. There is access to the swim platform from the aft deck.

The aft deck can be one of the most important spaces in the yacht. Casual meals, entertaining, coffee in the morning, a focal point for water sports and the most commonly used access to the yacht via the passarelle are all easily achieved here.

All systems, pumps, switches, motors and just about everything else was inspected and replaced or repaired as needed.
In April of 2018 a complete audio gauge was conducted. All of the bottom was found to meet or exceed specifications.

The asking price for Gaudeamus is about 1/4 of this owner's investment into this yacht. If you are demanding nothing but the best at a reduced price then Gaudeamus should be considered.
