Overview

Customized only tells part of the story about this 60' Hatteras battle wagon. She was extensively refit in 2006/2010 at a cost reportedly exceeding a million dollars. Her owner at the time wanted to make this 1980 60' look like a new styled 60'.

Her engines were replaced with re-manufactured 12V92T's enabling speeds over 25 knots.

She has a sleek uncluttered exterior profile with an extended flybridge, modified side window lines, enclosed front windshield, no port holes, no bow rail and custom engine room vents. The Tuna Tower was customized with center ladder tower access, molded fiberglass standing platform and arch styled top. She has snow white Awlgrip paint. The cockpit was modified to accommodate a mezzanine and has all the tournament level fishing gear. The audio/video and navigation electronics have been updated to current day standards.

Virtually no area of this boat was untouched and she was upgraded without regard to cost.

Remarks

Customized only tells part of the story about this 60’ Hatteras battle wagon.  She was extensively refit in 2006/2010 at a cost reportedly exceeding a million dollars.  Her owner at the time wanted to make this 1980 60' look like a new styled 60.

To begin, her engines were replaced with re-manufactured 12V92T’s enabling speeds over 25 knots.

She has a sleek uncluttered exterior profile with an extended flybridge, modified side window lines, enclosed front windshield, no port holes, no bow rail and custom engine room vents.  The Tuna Tower was customized with a center ladder tower access, molded fiberglass standing platform and arch styled top.  She has snow white Awlgrip paint.  The cockpit was modified to accommodate a mezzanine and has all the tournament level fishing gear.

The audio/video and navigation electronics have been updated to current day standards.

The interior features the original Hatteras teak wood but refinished in hi gloss.  Granite and stone counter tops in galley and heads, with newer appliances and a cut down galley open to the salon.  Fresh interior wall coverings and fabrics.

Virtually no area of this boat was untouched and she was upgraded without regard to cost.
