Walk Through

The 65’Hatteras Convertible is a classic and is one of the most popular sport fishing yachts of her size ever built. Utilizing the same excellently-designed hull of the then popular 60 Convertible, the 65 is more stylish and more aggressive with significant improvement in performance and speed. Prop pockets reduce draft and a custom air ride with air between the hull and the props ensure a smooth ride.

The layout is standard with 3 staterooms and three heads below and the galley-up on the port side with an adjacent large, booth-style dinette. The spacious salon is open to the galley, a new design in 1996. The cockpit offers 183 square feet of space, the largest on any production yacht. Engine room access is from the cockpit with a two-way door, freezers, live well and tackle storage neatly tucked under the fly bridge ladder. The fly bridge is open style with a hard top that features an enclosure and two stations: the main helm, forward, and the secondary station, aft, for docking and fishing.
