This 1988 65' Hatteras Jack Hargrave design is a perfect example of a well maintained boat with low hours on her twin 870 hp 12V71 TA Detroit diesels A perfect platform for a traveling couple. Easily operated by just two. Sleeps 8 in 4 staterooms all with private ensuite heads. Open fly bridge offers spacious entertaining areas complete with a fly bridge bar and enclosed aft deck. She is a beautiful classic yacht ready for a new owner to enjoy her many features. "Benchmark" also features a totally customized interior with tasteful decorations throughout. She is also one of the few 65's that offer 4 staterooms! This vessel is a must see for any 65' Hatteras Motoryacht buyer. This vessel shows that it has received ongoing care. The exterior finish is beautiful and the engine room stands tall. This is a turn key vessel with very dependable Detroit diesels that will take you anywhere you want to go. "Benchmark" was sold new to a yachtsman who used her in Lake Michigan. Veseel Walk-Through

Enter "Benchmark" through port or starboard wheelhouse doors into the large wheelhouse. Aft through a door is the large galley-up, featuring full size appliances, plentiful storage and a dinette that seats many of your friends and family. The aft section of this area has plenty of comfortable seating for relaxation. The aft deck is just out a door starboard. 
Forward out of the wheelhouse and down a few steps are the accommodations. There are 4 full staterooms with the master all the way aft featuring a full size king size bed on a center line and a large dressing room. The flybridge is accessed from the wheelhouse up a ladder.

Salon

The full beam salon combined with the tastefully decorated interior, gives the sensation you are on a much larger yacht. At the forward end of this space is the formal dining table, the entertainment center, the wet bar, and built-in custom desk.

Galley

The Galley-up also takes advantage of the full beam. All the appliances have been replaced recently and granite counter tops installed. The windows in this area open and have screens. There is a door between here and the salon and also one aft of the wheelhouse (closing the door allows you to cruise after dark from the lower station with lights on in the galley and salon.


Wheelhouse

Hatteras flush deck wheelhouses are hard to beat. They have excellent visibility, plenty of vertical dash space to flush mount the navigational electronics, and sliding pilothouse doors port and starboard. These doors allow direct access to the forward side decks, making single handed docking a breeze. From this area you will find a ladder leading to the large flybridge, a doorway leading to the galley, and a stairway leading to the accommodations.

Master Stateroom

The master stateroom on "Benchmark" occupies the aft 1/3 of the lower deck. It is one of the largest you will find on any 65' yacht. It features a centerline walk around king size bed with new custom mattress, a large dressing room with sink and vanity, lots of hanging storage and drawer space, and a large ensuite bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. There are plenty of opening port holes with screens. The fabrics used in this area help provide a pleasant, open-airy feeling.
