Overview
This seaworthy Kadey Krogen Manatee is the quintessential Great Loop boat. With a bridge clearance of 16 feet with the mast down, it can comfortably pass under just about any bridge, and her beam of 14 feet gives her lots of living space but enough clearance to go through the locks with confidence. Happy Clamz has had many recent updates, including being repowered with a Yanmar 100 hp in 2012. In 2013 she had her through hulls consolidated into one, a new rudder post, and dripless shaft seal, and radar replaced. Her exhaust system was re-worked in 2014; 2015 brought her a new bottom, windows, and inverter; and 2016, a new water pump.
