Overview

The yacht has been equipped to be self-sufficient for long periods, with large fuel tanks giving a range of 2,600 miles. Two 24-volt DC Spectra water makers, each producing 30 litres per hour or 720 litres per day while being independent of generator use.  Two large freezers and three refrigerators provide ample storage.  And though requiring AC power, one of the two compressors may be run off the house batteries by way of an inverter. Two small cold boxes beneath the cockpit table are also run off battery power. An alternative source of power is provided by solar panels built into the Bimini top.  Additional panels are secured in a portfolio case for deployment when at anchor. Underway, a Watt & Sea hydro-generator may be attached to the swimstep to provide 20 to 24 amps of 24 volt power.

The interior, designed by Andrew Winch, is pleasant, spacious and light. The joinery is beautifully crafted in Anigre, a light honey coloured African wood creating both light and warmth.

The transition from exterior to pilothouse to the saloon, gives the feeling of being on a much larger yacht. The layout is very well designed, offering a large owner's cabin, plus child's cabin aft, with two guest cabins and a two person crew cabin forward. Owner, guest and crew cabins are all with en-suite shower and heads. Next to the single cabin is a day head which is also a laundry room. The large and well equipped galley is positioned low in the boat, making it very comfortable to work in at sea. The saloon is light and spacious with the dining area on the port side and the seating area on the starboard.

Walk through description from forward
There is a large storage area accessed from the deck with easily accessed anchor chain stowage and ample room for storage of equipment.

Aft of this bulkhead is a Captain's cabin with heads compartment forward with manual head, basin and shower. There is an upper and lower berth aft of this to port with a storage area to starboard. The Capain's cabin is finished in the same Anigre wood which is a honey coloured wood with attractive grain and the sole boards throughout are in Ash with Teak margins. There is a stainless steel ladder in the crew cabin that folds against the bulkhead neatly when not in use, and hinges out to form an access ladder through the deck hatch.

Aft of this cabin there is a corridor to the main saloon with mirror image double guest cabins to port and starboard. Both cabins have excellent cupboard space, are light and airy and super for living aboard for long periods. Both have their own large heads compartments with separate showers, electrics heads and washbasins. The port cabin has a B&G repeater.

The main saloon in common with the rest of the accommodation was designed by Andrew Winch and has many attractive curves and nice detailing. To port is a U-shaped dining area with an attractive dining table. This has a stainless steel handrail on the starboard side for use when the yacht is at sea. This can be detached and a new owner could add director's chairs to accommodate a further two people, giving comfortable dining room for eight people. To starboard is a U-shaped seating area. A flat screen TV retracts from the forward bulkhead and swivels when in use. Below the TV is a locker/bar unit. The saloon is a light and airy area for use both in port and at sea.

Aft of the dining table, to Port, are two steps down to the spacious galley with two refrigerators and two chilled drawers together with two sinks and drainer, gas cooker and microwave. The Corian work surface gives masses of food preparation space and there is a vast amount of space for stowage and food storage.

To Starboard aft from the saloon there are two steps down to the navigation area (which is forward facing) and a corridor runs aft from this, with a door to the machine room inboard (to Port).
Once inside this machine room there is a watertight door forward into the engine space giving superb access to all the systems. For more serious maintenance the floor in the main saloon lifts and there is a soft spot in the superstructure to allow for total removal of machinery if this is ever needed.

Back in the corridor, outboard (to Starboard) is the day head area which also houses the washing machine and dryer. Next to it, just aft, is a single berth cabin which is perfect for children and also has a lot of useful storage. It would double as a workshop or further storage area if required (or indeed for crew – as a new owner may desire).

The owner's cabin is aft and is bathed in light from overhead hatches and hull ports. It features a large centreline double bed, with dressing table to starboard and huge amounts of storage. There is good headroom throughout the yacht and this continues throughout the owner's cabin. The en-suite head is large with a separate shower stall, washbasin and electric head.

From the main saloon there are three shallow steps up to the pilothouse – this area offers all round visibility and houses a full suite of navigation equipment. There is a leather seat to port and the boards are in scrubbed teak so that the crew can use this inner station whilst in oilskins. The large door out to the cockpit makes for easy access and thus aids handling of the yacht. Stainless steel guards are fitted around the pilothouse to starboard for safety. The natural light from the pilothouse floods into the saloon below. It is a great solution for long distance sailing.

The cockpit has a large table with two cool boxes, and seats six in comfort for al fresco dining. It is great place to relax and is well protected by the pilothouse and an overhead bimini.
Aft of the cockpit are the twin helm positions. There is easy access between the helms onto the aft deck. There is a large aft lazarette accessed from the deck which houses the dive compressor, dive bottles and much else. Her scooped stern give good access to the sea for swimming or to get into the dinghy. There is a boarding gangway/passarelle for in-harbour use.
