Overview
Oar Knot is a well maintained, modern trawler with classic lines. Her
owners just finished the Great Loop and she is outfitted and ready to go
again! This 2005 Mainship 34 Trawler is powered with a single Yanmar
6LYA-STP 370 hp diesel engine and she has plenty of power to reach a top
speed of 13 knots but cruises efficiently at 8 knots. You'll enjoy the
bow thruster for easy docking and the dual air conditioning and
generator for comfortable anchoring and cruising. The flybridge features
new Strataglass and canvas enclosure -August 2018 and updated Raymarine
electronics (May 2013). This Mainship 34 trawler is well equipped for
long distance cruising or the active couple or family on the go seeking
weekend adventure. Her 14' 3" beam makes this trawler's main cabin very
spacious with plenty of room for a full galley, lower helm, table and
chairs and seating/sleeping area. The master stateroom with its centered
queen berth and the sleeper sofa in the main cabin makes sleeping for
four very comfortable and the single head is roomy and contains a large
separate shower stall. With a large cockpit, easy to navigate molded
staircase to the flybridge, plenty of space and seating to entertain a
group of people and a well equipped upper helm this boat has everything a
liveaboard needs. All fiberglass decks reduce maintenance while the
interior maintains a nice balance of teak. She's been extremely well
maintained - the exterior was just professionally cleaned and waxed mid
October.

WALKTHROUGH
Boarding the vessel is
simple via the swim platform and transom door or over the gunwales and
down the built in folding steps on either side of the cockpit. Access
forward can be reached from the cockpit by full walk-around decks
leading to enclosed anchor locker with windlass and foot pedal controls.
You?ll also find easy direct access to the lower helm station through
the starboard side door. From the cockpit a molded spiral staircase
leads up to the flybridge. Proceed forward through the Strataglass
enclosure to large seating areas and folding table. Looking forward are
three captain?s chairs with full 360 degree view from the helm. Return
down the stairs where the cockpit double doors lead to the main cabin.
Once inside the main cabin, the large sleeper/sofa is to port and a
small dining table with chairs is to starboard. The lower helm is
forward and starboard in the main cabin and the U-shaped galley is down
and forward to port. Walk forward through the master suite door to the
centerline queen berth with hanging lockers. The head is to starboard.
Note the Corian countertop, wood cabinetry and electric flushing toilet.
Looking aft is the large glass door enclosed shower.
