Overview
Seaquest is a 2002 Mainship 390 trawler in very nice condition with
classic trawler lines and built on a modified-V hull with shallow, full
length keel. Her 14' 2" beam makes this trawler's main cabin very
spacious with plenty of room for a full galley, lower helm and
side-by-side recliner love seat with hi-lo table. Two cabins makes
sleeping for four very comfortable and the single head is roomy and
contains a large separate shower stall. With a large cockpit, easy to
navigate molded staircase to the flybridge, plenty of space and seating
to entertain a group of people and a well-equipped upper helm this boat
has everything a modest sized live aboard needs. Powered with a single
Cummins 6BTA 330 hp diesel engine, she has plenty of power to reach a
top speed of 14 knots but cruises efficiently at 8-10 knots. An 8 kw
Kohler generator provides plenty of AC power to operate all systems on
the boat and a single panel solar system provides additional power. All
fiberglass decks reduce maintenance while the interior maintains a nice
balance of teak. This trawler is a Great Loop veteran and is ready to go
again.

WALK THROUGH
Access to the cockpit can
be obtained via the swim platform and transom door or over the gunwales
and down a few steps on either side of the cockpit. The forward deck
can be reached from the cockpit via comfortable walkways on port and
starboard. Once in the cockpit, a sliding door leads to the main cabin
and a molded spiraling staircase to starboard leads up to the flybridge.
Access to the main cabin is made easy through the large, sliding glass
door in the cockpit or forward on the starboard side to the lower helm
wing door. Once inside the main cabin through the cockpit sliding door,
the L shaped galley is to port, the companionway to the berthing
compartments is centered forward and the lower helm and side-by-side
recliner love seat are to starboard. Down the companionway the berthing
compartment is laid out with the guest cabin to port, head to starboard
and master cabin forward in the bow. On the flybridge is a large open
deck aft and forward inside the enclosure are bench seats to port and
starboard, a fold out table between them and a two-place bench seat at
the flybridge helm forward. Access to the engine/mechanical compartment
is made easy through large hatches in the main cabin sole and lazarette.
Main cabin
Seaquest's main cabin is
an open floor plan consisting of the large L-shaped galley along the
entire port bulkhead with the sink along the forward bulkhead of the
space. The Companionway to the berthing compartments is center forward
in the main cabin and the lower helm, side-by-side recliner love seat
and hi-lo table are along the starboard bulkhead. There is a brass
Howard Miller ships clock and a brass Howard Miller barometer mounted
above the love seat. The electrical panel is inside the aft sliding door
to starboard and the engine compartment is below the sole of the main
cabin. Plenty of windows, the starboard wing door and the aft sliding
door provide natural lighting and fresh airflow to the space. The main
cabin sole is teak and holly hardwood flooring. A West Marine WM4000
stereo is mounted in the aft bulkhead and is connected to 4 speakers, 2
in the main cabin and 2 on the flybridge along with a ACR EPIRB.

Galley
The
Galley features all the major components needed to prepare and store
food and drinks for extended cruising. There is plenty of storage
throughout the cabinets with a good amount of counter space. Corian
counter tops throughout the galley and an under counter mounted
stainless steel sink with cutting board insert reflects the modern
styling of this trawler. A princess three burner electric stove and oven
are aft of the sink. Further aft is a Nova Kool three quarter height
AC/DC refrigerator with separate freezer compartment below, a GE
microwave oven and a Black and Decker Spacemaker Coffee Maker is mounted
above the refrigerator. Farthest aft is another Corian counter top with
storage cabinets both above and below and a Raritan Icer-ette automatic
ice maker.
Lower Helm
The design of this boat makes effective
navigating from the lower helm possible. The helm is outfitted with all
the necessary equipment including:
?Raymarine RL70C radar display
?Mounting bracket for the Garmin GPSmap 740 chartplotter on the flybridge
?Sidepower bow thruster controls
?Standard Horizon marine VHF radio with DSC
?Ritchie Compass

?Engine gauges and controls
Master Stateroom
The master stateroom is forward in the bow of the boat. The large
centered queen berth has walk-around access, reading lights, under bed
storage drawers and provides very comfortable quarters for the owners.
Cabinets with hanging lockers are to port and starboard with a private
entrance to the head to starboard. The sole is carpeted, two portlights
and an overhead hatch provide natural light and airflow to the space.

Guest Stateroom
The guest cabin is to port aft of the master cabin and features two
single, side-by-side berths, a hanging locker, reading lights and a
storage nook next to the berth. About half of the length of the single
berths is tucked under the galley but provides plenty of space so that
guests won't feel claustrophobic. A portlight and overhead hatch allow
plenty of natural light and fresh air into the space. The sole is
carpeted.

Head
The bright and modern head features an electric toilet, molded vanity
with sink, storage cabinets and a large circular mirror over the vanity.
The large shower stall with glass accordion doors provides a very
comfortable space to shower without feeling cramped. A single portlight
and overhead hatch provides natural light and airflow to the space.
Access is via a private door from the master cabin and a second door
from the companionway.

Cockpit
The large, covered cockpit on this trawler provides plenty of room for a
few chairs and a small table with room left over to move around. A
large hatch just outside the main cabin sliding door leads to a
mechanical space with access to the generator, water tanks, battery
switches and shaft seal.
A smaller lazarette further aft provides
access to the aft end of the generator, steerage and provides
additional storage space. A transom door provides access to the large
swim platform and the tender in the St Croix davits. An outboard motor
mount is to port of the main cabin sliding door inside the cockpit. Two
additional storage compartments are in the transom port and starboard of
the door. The large molded spiraling staircase to starboard leads up to
the flybridge and makes for a very easy transition up and down.

entertaining or relaxing. The flybridge is enclosed with new canvas and
Strata Glass (2018) and features two large bench seats on either side of
the flybridge and a fold out table with storage in the center that can
be used as a dinette for four comfortably. A two person bench seat is
located at the flybridge helm which is outfitted with the following
