Overview

Mi Lo is a very nice, modern trawler with classic trawler lines but built on a semi-displacement hull with a full keel. Her 14' 3" beam makes this trawler's main cabin very spacious with plenty of room for a full galley, lower helm, table and chairs and seating/sleeping area. The master stateroom with its centered queen berth and the sleeper sofa in the main cabin makes sleeping for four very comfortable and the single head is roomy and contains a large separate shower stall. With a large cockpit, easy to navigate molded staircase to the flybridge, plenty of space and seating to entertain a group of people and a well equipped upper helm this boat has everything a smaller sized liveaboard needs. Powered with a single Yanmar 6LYA-STP 370 hp diesel engine, she has plenty of power to reach a top speed of 15 knots but cruises efficiently at 8 knots. All fiberglass decks reduce maintenance while the interior maintains a nice balance of teak. This trawler is ready for a couple to take her on the Great Loop or other extended cruising.

Mainship 34 Walkthrough

Access to the cockpit can be obtained via the swim platform and transom door or over the gunwales and down the built in folding steps on either side of the cockpit. The fore deck can be reached from the cockpit via very secure walkways on port and starboard. Once in the cockpit, double doors leads to the main cabin and a molded spiraling staircase to starboard leads up to the flybridge. Access to the main cabin is made easy through the large, double glass doors in the cockpit or forward on the starboard side to the lower helm wing door. Once inside the main cabin, the large sleeper/sofa is along the port side and a small dining table with two chairs is to starboard. The lower helm is forward and starboard in the main cabin and the U-shaped galley is down and forward to port. The companionway to berthing is centered forward, the head is to starboard and master stateroom is forward in the bow. On the flybridge is a large open deck aft and forward are bench seats to port and starboard, a fold up table and three captains chair at the flybridge helm forward. Access to the engine/mechanical compartment is made easy through the lift up lower section of the molded flybridge stairs.

Mainship 34 Main Cabin

Mi Lo's main cabin is an open floorplan with a large sleeper/sofa to port, a two place dining table to starboard, the lower helm forward to starboard and the down U-shaped galley forward to port. The Companionway to the berthing compartment is center forward in the main cabin between the galley and head. The electrical panel is aft on the starboard side of the main cabin. Plenty of windows, the starboard wing door and the aft double glass doors provide natural lighting and fresh airflow to the space. The main cabin sole is synthetic teak and holly with a large floor rug.

Mainship 34 Galley

The U-shaped galley features all the major components needed to prepare and store food and drinks for extended cruising. There is plenty of storage throughout the cabinets with a good amount of counter space and dry storage under the floor. Corian counter tops throughout the galley and an under counter mounted stainless steel sink aft in the galley reflects the modern styling of this trawler. A half size refrigerator with separate freezer compartment is below the aft counter top and a Sharp Carousel microwave oven is mounted behind the counter and above the refrigerator. Forward in the galley is a Princess two burner propane stove.

Three additional storage compartments are in the transom to port of the door. The large molded staircase to starboard leads up to the flybridge and makes for a very easy transition up and down.
