MARINE TRADER 44 - THE JACK - WALKTHROUGH:

DECKS:

The wrap around teak deck is accessed via gates on the port and starboard sides and at the stern and features a high teak capped gunwale topped by a sturdy teak hand rail. Cleats are found port and starboard at the bow, midships and stern. The foredeck features a stainless steel bow rail, electric windless with anchor roller mount, washdown spigot and a deck box. A raised cabin top features 3 hatches and there is an air horn mounted on the flybridge coaming. Moving aft along the weather decks the main salon is accessed via sliding doors on the port and starboard sides. At the stern there is a raised cabin top, with rear access to the aft stateroom via a split hatch/door. A transom locker is accessed at the aft deck, along with access to the full beam swim platform via a gate and ladder. Two steps mounted on the raised cabin top and a two step ladder on the salon aft bulkhead lead to the flybridge.

FLYBRIDGE:

The flybridge extends the full length of the salon below and features a teak capped coaming wrapping around the forward section and a teak handrail wrapping around the aft section. The helm is found on the starboard side and seating for 6 is provided by two double sided benches with teak trim, port and starboard forward. There is also additional room for deck chairs on the aft section of the deck. The forward section of the fly bridge is protected by a Bimini top. A single spreader mast w/boom is center mounted aft. Storage is found under the forward coaming console and under the bench seats.

SALON:

The recently renovated salon is entered through sliding teak doors found port side aft and starboard side forward next to the helm, and features a teak parquet sole, teak paneling and joinery, and large windows w/curtains providing 360 degree views. Seating is provided by a leather settee running the length of the salon on the starboard side, a leather chair and leather recliner on the port side and two stools aft. The aft stateroom is accessed via a companionway port side aft. A flat screen TV is mounted starboard side aft with 4 stereo speakers top mounted at the four corners of the salon. The helm is located forward on the starboard side and includes a raised bench seat with drawers and a slide out liquor cabinet underneath. Opposite the helm on the port side there is a breakfast bar that opens to the galley below. The stair case leading to the lower deck is found forward, between the helm and the breakfast bar.

GALLEY:

From the salon the very spacious galley is three steps down on the port side and features a parquet sole, teak joinery, a new full size refrigerator freezer, three burner electric stove/oven with butcher block cover, a microwave oven and a full size double stainless steel sink. The refrigerator freezer and stove are found along the forward bulkhead, with the microwave mounted above the stove. There is an opening hatch above the stove for ventilation with top mounted storage lockers running the length of the bulkhead. The sink is center mounted in the counter top running the length of the galley on the port side, with an opening and a fixed portlight above. The large counter top extends around the aft section of the galley, with shelving and a locker above then opening to the salon. Drawers and storage lockers are found under the countertops. The galley is spacious with very ample storage and enough room for two people to prepare meals.

FORWARD HEAD:

The forward head is found opposite the galley on the starboard side. It features a parquet sole, white teak trimmed laminate paneling, stainless steel sink, bath tub with shower and an electric marine head. A countertop runs the length of the head on the starboard side. A stainless steel sink is found on the right side with a mirror mounted on the bulkhead above. Lockers are found below the counter and a cabinet is found above on the left side. There is a shower stall/bath tub in the aft section of the head to the right of the counter. An electric marine head is located at the forward bulkhead. Ventilation is provided by an overhead hatch and an opening portlight.

FORWARD STATEROOM:

The private forward stateroom is entered from the galley area. It features a parquet sole, teak paneling and joinery. The large v-berth provides accommodation for 2, with storage lockers underneath. An additional hanging locker with a shelf atop is found port side aft. Shelving runs the length of the berth on the port and starboard sides. Ventilation is provided by an opening hatch and two opening portlights.

AFT STATEROOM:

The aft stateroom is entered three steps down from the salon through a companionway and features a king bunk, teak cabinetry, parquet sole, and aft deck access. The king size bunk is located in the aft port corner of the stateroom with a bedside table and a large hanging locker extending along the port side. Two windows (one opening) are found above the bunk and cabinetry, with an additional fixed window located above the bunk in the aft bulkhead. Built in drawers and lockers with a shelf atop extend along the starboard side of the stateroom. A flat screen TV is mounted on the forward section of the shelf. A full length mirror is mounted on the forward bulkhead next to the door to the ensuite head. Access to the aft deck is provided by stair and split hatch door at the aft starboard corner of the stateroom.

AFT ENSUITE HEAD:

The ensuite head is located in the aft stateroom, starboard side forward. It features a parquet sole, white teak trimmed laminate paneling, stainless steel sink, bath tub and an manual marine head. The corner mounted sink is found on the port side. Two mirrors are mounted above on the port and forward bulkheads, with a locker below. Opposite on the starboard side there is a bath tub with an opening window above. The marine head is center mounted between the bath tub and sink with a top mounted locker above.

ENGINE ROOM:

The engine room is located under the salon and is accessed through a hatch under the galley stairs or via hatches in the salon deck.
