The Brier Patch was launched in 2009 and features a master stateroom to port
with ensuite head and full shower, a guest stateroom forward upgraded with two
over and under queen berths, ensuite head with shower as well as a large cedar
lined hanging locker and 6-drawer storage. A crew quarters with over/under
bunks is to starboard with a full head and shower shared with the captains quarters.
All counter tops are stone, stateroom floors are carpeted and head floors
are upgraded burl walnut. Fully forward is a VIP with over and under queen
berths, 3-cedar hanging lockers and a full head with vanity, stone countertops,
burl walnut floors and large shower.

The interior is classic Merritt satin finished teak throughout with many upgrades
including ceiling beams, leather wall coverings with raised teak panels below in
the companionway. The galley is to port with hidden cooktop, convection microwave
oven, toaster oven, custom pot/pan storage, dish and silverware storage,
a large custom Merritt stainless freezer and 2-refrigerators, there is an
abundance of under and over counter storage. A large dinette is forward to starboard
with stone top and storage under the seats. A spacious salon with high
ceilings, pop-up TV, leather u-shaped settee with storage under, 2 barrel chairs,
custom table that expands and lifts to become a full dining table seating 8.

A Merritt signature full mezzanine with drink box, tackle storage, refrigeration and
dual freezers defines the cockpit with its teak sole and coverboards. There are
two in-deck live wells and plumbing for 2-on-deck wells as well. The bridge was
upgraded with an aft facing seat and captains storage bin next to the console on
the starboard side as well as a raised seat forward of the console with excellent
rod storage under. Brier Patch has a davit, cradle pads, pulpit, windlass and
bow rail. She is fully capable of carrying an 18’ skiff on her bow.
