Overview
MAYBE is the largest yacht ever been built in Spain by MetalShips & Docks with a design from Acubens Naval Architects and Marcelo Penna Yacht Design. She is a sleek and agile trans-Pacific motor yacht with a cruising range of 6,500nm at 12 knots and a helipad, offering a sense of adventure for her guests. With her twin 2,682hp CAT engines, she has a cruising speed of 14 knots, reaching a maximum of 16.5 knots.
The contemporary and bright interiors, of this 59m tri-deck, have been created by Tony Colom of Marcelo Penna Yacht Design and boast all the amenities one would expect to find on a custom-built mega yacht. In the centre, an impressive spiral staircase sweeps around a lift that connects each deck. The main deck features a spacious saloon, as well as a sophisticated formal dining area.
On the upper deck is another saloon with two separate seating area, a cinema room, a VIP stateroom, the wheelhouse and cap-tain’s quarters forward. Outside is another dining area where guests can enjoy sheltered alfresco meals.
Furthest forward on the main deck is an extremely generous full beam master stateroom with a study, walk-in wardrobe and his and her bathrooms. The remaining accommodations – two doubles and two twins – can be found on the lower deck. In addition MAYBE can accommodate up to 16 crew members.
The sundeck is complete with a gym-come-massage room including a sauna and offering incredible panoramic views. Moving out through the sliding glass doors, guests are welcomed at an outdoor bar and forward of the flybridge is a Jacuzzi surrounded by plush sun pads.

The project led by Toni Colom from Marcelo Penna Yacht Design carries a timeless and luxurious approach to match the exterior lines, and allows the customer to add a more modern or classic touch. The rich interiors bring together glossy woods, mirrors and crystal deco. These details reflect the modern and elegant style of the yacht’s interior. The general concept embraces strong architecture with a combination of vivid colour palettes.

The design of this yacht has been undertaken seeking the highest comfort level together with excellent performance at any sea condition. The hull lines are based on a similar successful experience, together with an extensive programme of tank testing developed for this particular ship. The hydrodynamic optimization of hull and appendages allows matching the benefits of a large beam (volume, stability, larger rolling period…), with efficient fuel consumption, high directional stability and sea-keeping. With a top speed of 17 knots, the range leads up to 6,000 nautical miles at economic speed. The hull is built in high resistance steel and the watertight subdivision, together with the double bottom, are designed for the highest level of safety.
One distinctive aspect is the extensive area available on all decks that leads to a very large usable space. Seven different versions of the layout were undertaken during the design process before reaching the final definition, maximizing the use of space for owners and crew as well as circulation on board.
Boasting an elegant overall look, a helideck has also been incorporated with landing capacity for a MD 500 or similar size/weight helicopter, and with a cross beam extended garage for a tender up to 8.5 m. The two fore hatches with lateral opening leave a large space for the safety boat and several toys.
Special care has been taken regarding noise and vibration isolation and in this sense, compartment divisions and floating floor preparation has been carried out to the highest standards.
