Description

Seven Tenths is a Great Harbour GH47, built by Mirage Manufacturing. Great Harbours are known for their stability, shallow draft, and twin skeg protected props. The interior space and conveniences are unmatched in a boat this size. With full size household appliances in the galley, abundant storage and large fuel, water and holding tanks, the Great Harbour GH47 is ready for long term comfortable cruising. She's a veteran Great Loop boat, bright and shiny with new paint, turnkey ready to take you on your own adventures, whether cruising to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the Great Loop or inland rivers.

Walkthrough

The Great Harbour GH-47 can be entered through port and starboard transom gates or port and starboard gates at the pilothouse level by ladder, depending on dock design. The transom gates open into the isinglass enclosed aft cockpit where a table and chairs are located. Double doors open from the aft cockpit into the salon. To port is a U-shaped Sunbrella upholstered seating area flanked by low bookcases. Starboard is mahogany cabinetry and TV. Soles throughout are maple.

The pilothouse can be accessed up the interior starboard side stairs or from the dock by boarding ladder. Port and starboard doors from the pilothouse lead to the decks and Portuguese bridge. The centerline helm seat offers access to the vessel's electronics and large windows (opening, screened and shaded) provide good visibility and ventilation. Aft of the helm is an L-shaped seating area and hi/low expandable table that converts to a queen berth. Extra cushions are stored under the seats. Aft of the helm/seating area is the watch, or guest, cabin. Opening, screened and shaded windows on three sides of the queen berth offer visibility and ventilation. Guests have access to a half head (VacuFlush toilet and sink) and mahogany cabinetry for storage.

A few steps down from the salon to port is the U-shaped galley. Two opening, screened portlights offer light and ventilation. Zodiac countertops over mahogany cabinetry offer working area and an integrated double sink. Appliances include a Kenyon four burner ceramic cooktop, GE Profile Convection/Microwave oven and a Samsung 23 cu/ft French door refrigerator. To starboard across from the galley is the dinette with large table (40" x 60") and Sunbrella upholstered bench seats with storage underneath. Two opening, screened portlights offer light and ventilation.

Forward of the galley to port in a companionway closet is a stacked washer and dryer and another closet starboard for storage. Next starboard is a guest head with Zodiac countertop with integrated sink, mahogany cabinetry and mirrored medicine cabinet, along with VacuFlush toilet and separate shower.

Continuing forward to port is the second stateroom converted to office/workroom. Two opening, screened portlights provide additional light and ventilation. The aft bulkhead is equipped with a stainless steel Craftsman tool box (39" x 33"), two drawer file cabinet, work space and shelving above. The forward bulkhead has a large bookcase and a hanging locker.

The master stateroom with ensuite head is located in the bow. The queen berth is flanked by mahogany cabinetry (including drawers, cabinets, generous hanging space) with additional drawers under the berth. Four opening, screened portlights and an opening, screened and shaded ceiling hatch add light and ventilation. A TV is mounted on the aft starboard bulkhead above an upholstered bench (hiding a floor safe). The mahogany vanity with Zodiac countertop and integrated sink and mirrored medicine cabinet are on the port aft bulkhead. A door separates the port head with VacuFlush toilet and shower/tub from the main stateroom.
