Overview

Chimera II is a classic 1984 36' Monk double cabin trawler.   She offers a fuel efficient Perkins 135 hp diesel engine, 1800 watt inverter, Vetus bowthruster, fuel polishing system, diesel fired heating system, reverse cycle air conditioning/heating system, no teak decks, bimini and full Eisenglass enclosure on the flybridge and a classic double cabin layout.  Her sellers are wrapping up their cruising plans, so Chimera is now available for sale.  She is Great Loop capable with a flybridge bimini height of 14'3". 

Walkthrough

From the aftdeck, you can step up onto the trunk cabin to the flybridge or walk out on either side deck to the salon entrances or the foredeck.  Entering the salon via the starboard side deck door, you will find the lower helm starboard forward, guest stateroom forward, l-shaped seating (Converts to a berth) with hi/lo, folding teak table port forward, another side deck access door port aft, master stateroom entrance aft and the galley starboard aft.   Engine room access is via a door under the guest stateroom stairs or salon sole hatches.
The headroom in the salon master stateroom is 6'4", 6'6" in the guest stateroom and 6' in the flybridge.  The master stateroom berth is 6'7" long and the guest stateroom berths are 6'3" long.

Accommodations

Chimera offers a full beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen size berth and ensuite head; a guest stateroom forward with a v-berth and ensuite head; and the salon seating and table convert to a double size berth.

The galley is located starboard aft in the salon.

Lower Helm

The lower helm is starboard forward in the salon and offers a console with full electronics and a side deck access door.

Fly Bridge

The flybridge offers a bimini, full Eisenglass enclosure with screens, hinged mast, non-skid deck, deck storage box, benchseats with storage on each side, 2 helm seats and console forward with storage underneath.
