Come join the fun on the Classic Circuit.
This well founded and updated Nevins Yawl is fully equipped and ready to go. A recent survey by Paul Haley showed her to be in excellent condition. Easily inspected in covered shed, she is ready to take you on the Classic Circuit or just cruising the coast this summer.
Large comfortable cockpit with wheel steering on binnacle aft, copious sail lockers port and starboard and full cushions. Companionway offset to starboard leads down to main cabin with galley aft to port with center line sink, 3 burner Luke/Heritage propane stove with over and plenty of locker space and rack storage for dishes and glassware. Opposite is the built in, top opening Frigoboat refrigerator/freezer, with electrical panel, battery monitor and propane control behind.
The main salon has a gimballed tale on the center line over the centerboard trunk with a small tale over the centerboard winch at the aft end. To port is an upper pilot berth with double pullout settee below. To starboard the upper berth has been converted to a bookcase and navigation area with VHF, stereo and CD player. There is a propane cabin heater recessed into the forward bulkhead.
Forward to starboard is the enclosed head with the original sink adapted for pressure water, Wilcox head with Y valve, telephone shower with sump pump and opening port. Opposite to port is a hanging locker.
The fore-peak has been altered to accommodate a double berth to port and a desk to starboard providing the cruising sailor with a comfortable place to sleep and a quiet place to work at a computer.
Large aft cockpit with binnacle steering and big sail lockers port and starboard. Fantail area aft of cockpit has hatch for propane locker. On top of the cabin house, there is a dodger over aft end to protect the cockpit and companionway, a center line hatch over the main salon and another forward of the main mast over the fore peak as well as 3 Dorade type ventilators, a "Charlie Noble" vent for the cabin heater and storage for the wooden spinnaker pole. There is another Dorade vent in the middle of the fore deck and a bronze Muir windlass. The chain plates are well outboard for easy passage fore and aft. The adjustable jib sheet tracks are on the toe rail with screw in pad eye for smaller jib in the side decks.
Muir windlass, salt water wash down forward, fresh water spigot in cockpit, 250' chain anchor rode, 2- 200 nylon rodes, 45#CQR 30# Fortress and 75# Luke anchors, removable anchor roller. Full cockpit cushions, dodger, fender boards, dock lines, fenders.

Mahogany planking on steam bent, whit oak frames. Keelson, stem, horn timber are white oak. External lead ballast. Deck is plywood over white oak frames cover with Dynel fiberglass and resin. Rudder is mahogany with bronze fittings.
Hull was refastened and repaired as necessary over the years, most recently, the floor bolts were replaced. Topsides are painted white, bottom light blue with dark blue boottop. Deck and cabin top are beige with bright finished cabin sides, toe rail and coamings.
