The Ocean Alexander 46' Double cabin is a timeless Ed Monk design with two double staterooms and a central entertainment area. A large yacht for her class, this layout features a roomy salon, galley with dinette, with teak throughout. Visibility from the salon is unparalleled for ease of navigation with the optional lower control station.
The Ocean Alexander 46' Double Cabin was also sold as a 42' model without the fishing cockpit.
While similar to the popular 42'/44'/46' Sundeck model the 46' Double Cabin features a slightly wider beam with the same layout.
Boarding is via the cockpit or swim-platform then up a (4) step stainless ladder with teak rungs to the sundeck. Covering the spacious sundeck is a hardtop with the vessels tender stored above. From the sundeck to port a (4) rung teak and stainless ladder lends access to the flybridge, while to starboard down (1) step leads to the salon.
The salons L shaped settee to port with a glass topped table and 2 chairs to starboard offer expansive room for entertaining. Slightly forward to port is a bar area complete with stainless ice maker, while to starboard is the entertainment system space.
Down (3) teak steps is to port is the vessel's well equipped galley,and the guest head with stall shower is to starboard. All the way forward with twin over under V berth and expansive storage space is the guest stateroom
The master stateroom is accessed down (3) carpeted steps aft of the salon with an island queen berth and en-suite head.
Up (4) teak steps is the bridge, and main helm area. The bridge has plenty of room to get some fresh air with a large L shaped white vinyl settee for entertaining. The bridge features (3) sided eisenglass with a blue Bimini top. The helm area has plenty of storage below for safety equipment or toys alike.

Down (1) teak step on the starboard side is the open salon with plenty of seating for guests, including a large L shaped settee with storage below and a pair of arm chairs. Next to the settee is a gorgeous hi-low teak table with a glass top, perfect for dinner or cocktails. opposite the settee to starboard is the vessels teak entertainment cabinet with a drawer below and a 40" Samsung TV mounted in front of the salon window.
Just in front of the settee is a white mica topped bar area with bottle and glass storage as well as an Edgestar stainless ice maker. The white mica serving area extends the length of the galley making excellent use of space.

All the way forward is the V berth Twin bed guest room. This stateroom features (2) teak hanging lockers and (6) teak storage drawers under the berths.

Down three carpeted steps is the master stateroom featuring an island style queen berth with teak storage drawers wrapping around to port. Plenty of natural light enters the cabin through a curving window with custom curtians that follow the lines of the vessel. There is also a Bomar hatch with a screen and shade which brings light in from the sundeck above. To port of the berth is a small seating area with storage behind. the large hanging locker is located opposite the berth.
