Overview

Introduction

She was built in Taiwan on a modified V-hull with balsa-cored hull sides, moderate beam and a shallow keel deep enough to offer some protection to the props. There are two spacious staterooms, one with a queen and the other with twin beds. Two roomy heads complete the offering down below along with ample storage space and closets! The salon is aft of the large and open galley area and wide open to the cockpit. Ocean Alexanders have always had a reputation for fine interior woodwork and this beauty is no exception. The teak paneling, countertops, and cabinets are of custom quality.

Command your next "Adventure" from the roomy interior helm or take the Captain's chair on the flybridge.

Accommodations

She boasts a spacious Salon and open Galley area reminiscent of a luxury home. There is a wonderful bar area for your favorite libation and a convenient ice machine! The large couch converts to a king size bed for extra sleeping quarters. The Galley itself is light and cheery with a plethora of counter space. The sink is a Kohler design complete with a garbage disposal. The stove and oven are propane fired to prepare gourmet cuisine and there is a microwave for convenience. There is also a large Norcold refrigerator and freezer.

Step up to the Pilot helm and you are in a different world with all of the controls within easy reach! All of the electronics are up to date and functional and there is a starboard side door for ventilation and quick access to the outside.

Down a few steps, you will find a Master suite featuring a queen size bed There is a Vizio television, plenty of storage and a desk area that can double as a make up area. The Master suite has its own head area with a stand up shower. Just outside is the second head, also complete with a stand up shower and lots of storage. The twin bedded guest cabin is bright and cheery as well with a large hanging closet as well as rod holders on one wall.

Back upstairs, head out through the sliding glass doors to relax in the roomy cockpit. With teak flooring and teak furniture, it is the perfect place to watch the sunset with your favorite beverage! There is a large tuna door that allows easy access to the over sized swim platform. There is also a swim Ladder for direct access to the cockpit that features a removable teak table on the top rungs. One of the fabulous features of the cockpit is the custom live well that is 40 gallons but clear like an aquarium! What a great place to keep your lobsters until grilling time! The unit also features a sink and a tackle closet. The freshwater shower rounds out this area of the vessel.

Bridge

Up the ladder to the large flybridge is made easy by design. Here you will find a sun worshipers chaise and two Captain's chairs. There is a custom cover that covers the entire helm. The Helm itself is quite comfortable with all of the gauges and electronics within easy reach! Towards the rear of the flybridge on the port side is a Bower Davit with a 1,000 lbs. lift capability. Visibility from the bridge is great in all directions and there is plenty of room to move around or add a chest freezer, more furniture, etc.

There is a Life Sling on the Flybridge and a life raft on the bow. She also features outriggers for those days when you just have the urge to say "Fish on"!

Engines

Adventure is powered by twin Detroit Diesels pushing 400 horsepower. They have been immaculately maintained. Access to the engine room and the electric room is from a hatch in the galley floor. You enter the electric room first where you will find a water maker, the main panel and a lot of storage space. Through another door and you are in the engine room. There is plenty of room to work on the motors! The heat exchangers are San Juan Engine Company products. The 12.5 KW Kohler generator is also aft of the twin diesels and has plenty of workroom around it as well. A small doorway leads further aft to an ample storage area under the cockpit. This area can be accessed from the cockpit as well via a short ladder. There is plenty of room for sports equipment, cleaning supplies, and extras.
