HULL CONSTRUCTION        

Above the waterline: custom laminate material comprising a combination of E-Glass, Kevlar and Carbon Fiber which offers significant weight savings, strength and stiffness advantages. Topside laminate incorporates a high-tech, foam-cored, E-Glass/Carbon sandwich above the waterline, applied by vacuum bagging techniques.

Below the waterline: single skin composite laminate, with an Aramid/Kevlar layer, reinforced with a matrix of stringers and floors. Built to comply with the requirements stipulated in the European Union’s Recreational Craft Directive (EURCD) to meet design Category A – ‘Ocean’.

HULL FINISH                     

White hull with cove line and double boot top lines in standard Oyster blue.

Moulded in GRP with balsa core.

STERN DESIGN                   

‘Sugar scoop’ stern design incorporates a recessed platform, which is especially useful for bathing and boarding and is trimmed with laid teak. This area includes a fold-down stainless steel bathing/boarding ladder with oval treads. The platform is accessed via an integral stairway from the aft deck.

EURCD                               

Built to comply with the requirements for Category A – Ocean.

SALOON                            

The light and airy saloon features a dining table and settee area to starboard, outboard of which is a locker and a central shelf to the hullports. To port of the main settee is a comfortable reading settee, and behind this, there is a 32” TV with a remote controlled lift bar system. Saloon table in maple with teak inlay design and fold out leaves and bottle stowage in table pedestal.

NAVIGATION AREA             

The chart area is at the aft starboard end of the saloon. All instruments flush-mounted to give the optimum viewing position. Table accommodates a half-folded Admiralty chart.

TWIN CABIN                      

To starboard and aft of the navigation area, with upper and lower berths. This cabin has a shared access to the aft cabin heads.

Blue Jeannie is highly specified when it comes to AV with every single berth boasting its own TV screen. Each cabin is networked to the onboard Kaleidescape movie server, satellite TV and Sony Playstation. Local streaming TV possibilities in all cabins. Alpine Control unit is located in the aft starboard cabin, and each guest cabin has an independent control, except for the forepeak crew cabin.
