Overview

The PY26 is a fantastic family cruiser with a lot of interior room for a 26-footer, including 6'1" headspace.  The shoal draft swing keel makes her ideal for the sailing the Chesapeake Bay while offering the ability to access it's countless shallow tributaries.  This boat has been restored, maintained and actively sailed by a loving family who recently moved up to a larger boat.  This is a great first boat for someone new to sailing or moving up from smaller boats; or for someone who is ready to downsize to a more manageable boat.

26' Paceship PY26 - Interior Layout

The interior of the PY26 is laid out in a traditional manner. A forward V-berth is separated from the head compartment by a bulkhead and a door. Moving aft the main saloon, separated from the head by a bulkhead and a door, has a settee/berth on either side with a pilot berth aft of the port settee.The Galley is on the aft starboard side, extending under the bridge deck.

The main salon features port and starboard settee seating, with a fold down table affixed to the forward bulkhead.  The galley is located on the aft starboard side and extends under the bridge deck

26' Paceship PY26 - Galley

The L shaped galley sits on the starbord side and across the center-line of the boat under the bridge deck.  Equipment includes a 2 burner Origo 4000 Alcohol Stove, Icebox and Sink with pressurized water and foot pump water spigots.

26' Paceship PY26 - Sleeping Accomodations

The v-birth is forward of the head, providing sleeping accommodations 2.  A deck mounted solar electric fan provides ventilation.  

A quarter birth for one person is located on the aft port side in the salon.

Accommodation for 2 is provided by the salon seating.

The Head is located forward of the Main Salon and features a portable chemical toilet and a sink with a manual pump water spigot.

26' Paceship PY26 - Cockpit

The cockpit features a Edison pedestal wheel helm and seating for 5 - 7 people.  There is a shallow locker on the port side and a deep locker on the starbord side.
