Overview

"Promises Kept" is a full-bodied express cruiser (now called the 4060 Commodore) with a Great History of care and maintenance. This model successfully blends luxury and performance with all the comforts of home. Posh interior with two private staterooms with a full head and shower for the master, plus a second head in the aft stateroom (very rare in boats this size). The expansive cockpit with circular helm deck seating is large enough to accommodate a small crowd. Engine access is tremendous with a cockpit deck that raises electrically. The XL swim platform with ladder offers an excellent spot for water activities. **Please Note that the Dinghy and davit system will not be included with this sale** She is loaded with extraordinary features like a Bow Thruster and Autopilot.

From the Stern

The XL swim platform features a pull-out boarding ladder, plus room for an inflatable dinghy (the dinghy and davit system pictured does not convey with the boat). The dockside water connections and twin 30 amp shore power connections are all conveniently located here. There are electric Cable Masters for each shore power cord. The hot/cold transom shower is conveniently located on the swim platform.

The Lazarette storage compartment is also accessed from here. Raise the aft deck and you now have a huge access hatch into the engine room. A stbd side transom door allows for easy access into the lower cockpit.

Cockpit, Helm Deck and Electronics

The cockpit is one step down from the helm, lending a nice bit of separation to this large space. There is NEW lay down cockpit carpeting and all eisenglass was replaced in 2012.

The full enclosure makes year round enjoyment of the boat possible.

There is a cockpit wetbar, featuring a fresh water sink, dual voltage refrigerator and storage compartment. Speaking of storage compartments, there is storage EVERYWHERE on this boat. The utilization of space is tremendous, and all is easily accessible.

The helm deck has a large C-shaped passenger seating area with a table, on the port side. These seats are raised so that passenger visibility while underway is very good.

The side-by-side helm seats offer flip-up bolsters and unobstructed views while underway.

Engines and Mechanical Equipment

"Promises Kept" is powered by twin Volvo Penta 8.1 GXI Fresh Water Cooled v-drive inboard engines, 420 hp each. There are 560 hrs on the engines. Recent engine service and maintenance includes:

  • Risers and Manifolds were replaced 2013
  • Heat Exchangers were serviced 2013
  • Dripless shaft seals replaced 2013
  • Rudders repacked 2013
  • Cutlass bearings were replaced 2013
  • Engine starting batteries were replaced in 2013
  • new 8D house battery in 2014

The Kohler 7.3E gas generator has also been recently serviced and has 180 hrs. The generator is housed inside of a sound shield.

Accommodations

The salon and lower cabin is really where the 3860 Regal shines. Wonderfully engineered spaces with natural light, top shelf finishes, all designed with your comfort in mind.

There is a sofa and dinette table along the stbd side. The dinette table easily converts into a sleeper, AND there are two recliners that are built into either end of the sofa. The view of the new 22 inch HDTV is perfect, Surround Sound along with DVD and VCR players and a Kenwood Stereo round out the Salon entertainment system.

The Galley is across on the port side of the main salon. Corian counters and Cherry cabinetry abound.  Galley Equipment includes:

  • NovaKool side by side refrigerator/Freezer
  • Origo Microwave oven
  • Black & Decker coffee maker
  • Stainless Steel deep-dish sink with combination faucet
  • Kenyon 2 burner electric stove
  • There is also a Central Vacuum system for the boat

The private Guest Stateroom is located aft of the galley and features twin beds, with a filler cushion that easily turn this into a double sized sleeper. There is storage beneath the beds. This stateroom features one of the two heads with a Vac-U-Flush toilet and shower. There is a sink and vanity, with storage cabinet, just outside of the guest head.

 

The private Master Stateroom is located forward of the salon, featuring an InnerSpring mattress, Viore HDTV and DVD player. Rich and opulent bed coverings and Cherry cabinetry are here to greet you. There is an overhead hatch with screen and shade, plus private access into the Master Head. There is a very generous shower with acrylic glass enclosure, sink, vanity and Vac-U-Flush toilet.
