VESSEL WALK THROUGH

Vessel is entered from cockpit through wide opening sliding glass doors.  Interior Salon is spacious with ample head room throughout.

Galley is immediately to Starboard with pass through window to cockpit, and loads of counter space – Refrigerator and Freezer are to Port as well as the Main Electric Panel

A large Dinette is to Port and partially occupies the forward section of the Salon.  A Nav Station with seat is also forward to the Starbd side of the Salon.

There are stairways on Port and Starbd sides of the Salon leading to the 4 guest cabins in the hulls

Each cabin has its own private ensuite head and shower.

Access to the crew cabins, located in the forward part of the hulls, is through a hatch on the forward deck

Construction

Hull is composite GRP (Fiberglass – Composite Glass Reinforced Plastic) with balsa coring above waterline.  Isophtlalic gelcoat is used  to help prevent osmosis.

 Framing – Fiberglass grid units, giving longitudinal and transverse strength to the lower hull, bonded to the bilge areas with fiberglass tabbing.  Cored fiberglass and plywood bulkheads are also bonded to the hull with fiberglass tabbing

Deck & Superstructure: Composite GRP using balsa core. There is a molded non-skid surface, An integrated cockpit hardtop Bimini supports the mainsail track/ a small fiberglass hardtop Bimini covers the helm position and is fitted with a clear plastic spray shield and side panels

HULL TO deck JOINT: The deck is chemically bonded a\and mechanically fastened between an internally flanged hull and anodized aluminum toe rail.  The bridge deck is laminated to the hulls with fiberglass.

Bulkheads: Composite fiberglass using marine plywood or balsa core

Keels: Molded fiberglass  - Sacrificial – bolted on to keel stubs – designed for in the water replacement

Rudders: Fiberglass spade rudders with SS rudder stock

BUILDERS REMARKS

This Leopard 46 is the product of over 500 catamarans built by Robertson and Caine. No other mid forty foot catamaran matches the interior space, walk around beds, and separate stall showers with excellent sailing performance and ease of maintenance. Equipped with twin 56 hp Yanmar engines for strong and reliable performance under power. Outstanding sailing performance with ease of control and unobstructed view from the raised helm station which has there steps from cockpit and side deck for easy access. The aft deck bench seat that becomes a swim/dinghy platform is another unique feature. Generator, air conditioning and lots of storage space rounds up a great package.

BROKER COMMENTS

Extremely spacious Catamaran with Huge cockpit and loads of deck space.  Her 4 cabins allow for cruising with family or friends - each with its own private head and shower.

She is designed to be easy to handle, and has been well maintained

Currently in the Caribbean - she will be enroute to Ft Laudedale shortly if not sold
